| Well 2nd last episode begins. We start with the left off conversation from previous episode. I loved the parallels of the in game and irl. How a broken akane met rurihime/eita for the first time who was ready to fix/ help them out. Its true that momo and Eita have become akanes emotional back support she can confide with them openly and both of them especially eita can read and understand akane so well while also vouching for yamada as well. I am glad they gave akane the push she needed to go and confess her feelings out. Also yea i am more sure about momo and eita ship after this. They are like akanes mom and dad for sure :3  Then we see akane rushing over yamadas house, thinking about her feelings and her first meeting with him. She finally reaches and tries to express but the old grandpa and grandma with the classic block with their loud comms. Yamda reaching over to close the door catching akane off guard and then seeing him shirtless embarassing her further, got some nice moments there. Walking down the station akane still in her thoughts still conflicted about confessing and wavering almost got herself in an accident. Yamadas hand holding gives her a bit of assurance but she then thinks its okay to be just receiving his kindness but also cheating to not open up with her feelings. Akane just in too much turmoil. Yamda surprisingly is a lot open, showing his worries about akane and asking her to be open with him showing a rare smile. i liked that hes showing development. Speaking of another turmoil we come to the classes where tsubaki has her own. Okamoto being the wingman again and takes the initative to make yamada share umbrella with her under the rain. going for the classic romantic trope. A little walk and when yamada gives her the umbrella to go of on his own, i think the insecurity kicked in with tsubaki of being left by him in terms of love, thats when she decides to run after him falling and when yamada tries to help her, seeing his blurred figure and him saying "are you okay" she just couldnt hold it in anymore even though she was so reluctant to do so knowing the consequences. I liked the ambience the background going all quiet the slow music picking up. Her tearing up while saying "i like you" and just think about me even its for one day says a lot to how much shes been through with her feelings. Kinda glad she did manage to say it out rather than just living with it but also kinda sad Akane couldnt do so herself before which puts us in the bad spot. Yamada also accepted and put off things with akane to think things out which i respect, hes giving consideration to a girls feelings unlike his past. We then go to tutoring with runa. Eita and runas mom is just so bubbly, can see where eita gets his moe mode from. They're both adorable doing gossip. Anyways Eita kinda half hit the nail with knowing yamada got confessed but with the wrong girl and getting surprised that hes thinking about it (cause ofc he thought he would say yes to akane which is quite understandable) but the toying comment should have made it obvious since yamda said no about it. Still it can be confusing since it was an unexpected confession. Finally we see yamada going over to akanes work place, with the excuse of apology. Akane immediately notices something off and i love she can read into him now especially to how emotionless front he projects. Then proceeds to game talks to make him comfortable and transistions into a supporting statement by saying along the lines of hope you get better and hang in there. Surprisingly for the first time Yamada opens about himself. on how he is and hes aware of his behavior and responses around people also undermining himself but akane just beautifully counters with honest compliments and assurance that he has so many good qualities which proves he isnt a nobody and to trust her on this, all while the intro song was playing on instrumental in the background which was just perfect. The drawing on the hand from akane was adorable and chefs kiss to cement the conversation.  Moving on to final episode, kinda know whats coming especially with tsubaki but hoping for a good closure. |
| May sound harsh but I don't care about Tsubaki at all, hopefully the painful moment of being turned down will happen quickly next episode to make room for a possible budding romance between Akane and Yamada. |

| Eita x Momo more interesting couple right now. And Tsubaki having the will to get what she wants more than our MC here. I am sorry you are doomed to fail. I don't believe how oblivious Yamada and Runa are to everything around them. |

| first things first, i loved okamoto's hoodie at night school. ); all the little dogs and it seemed so fluffy! to be honest, this was the first episode i felt frustrated. i know this is slow burning, but we only have one more episode and we're waiting for yamada to answer to another girl's confession? but it was nice realizing how everyone has grown through this. yamada and akane, runa, and even tsubaki. this is some good writing. |
