I rewatched before s2 aired and man the animation and fights were some of the worst I've seen in anime. I’ve realized that on MAL, when people want to complain about a good anime, they automatically go to “animation” or “action” was bad, it is the same all the time. Truth is… The story, world, magic, characters, dialogue are enjoyable. The animation was fine for this anime, it didn’t need to be super fancy. The relationships between the characters is the main focus of the anime, the action sequences are fine as is, they did not need to be fancy either. Both seasons fit well with each other. There really is nothing to complain about in this anime. |
