i totally agree! the whole show was great and that ending was satisfying

Didn't like it tbh, had a few konosuba moments but overall it falls flat and is pretty boring just my opinion.

Just Megumin haters and Kazuma/Aqua simps didn't enjoy it. Every episode had at least one funny moment that made the whole episode worth it (and the good ones had many of those moments).

I got to disagree. Konosuba is a hilarious masterpiece which I love but this spin-off was pretty mid. It wasn't all that funny and was pretty boring at some points. It focused on the most boring character of the main 4 and took away the main reason Konosuba actually works; the interactions between the 4 main characters and the wacky adventures they get up to. This was just a plot showcases places we have already seen and giving extra development to a flat character; a character who doesn't change and has no character development.

I dont think megumin is as bad as you say she is, but i can see where you coming from
Its one of theese shows where if you want to hate it you can easily find what to hate it for - by all means this show is no materpiece
However i still had good time with it, i think that, once again studio managed to give the right vibe to the series, that is actually quite different from og konosuba
If i had to guess how they did it, id'say it comes down to pacing, good music and sound design choices as well as (probably the most important one) bigger focus on more sincere moments, namely
all of theese scenes with focus on why she chooose explosion magic - moments like this are a huge deviation from komosuba proper and i really liked them

but yea it is kinda mid, its just you can also have fun with it wich is what i did

Like... dude... you gave everything Konosuba a 10, how is that not biased?
This anime did not need to exist, the parts that should have been explored were rushed to meet the 12 episode mark. With how much people like Megumin I thought they would actually but extra effort in giving her a properly detailed backstory but this was very shallow and was not very interesting or entertaining.

Let me rephrase : the anime did not need to exist in THIS form.
Maybe 12 episodes was cutting it short but I didn't feel it made Megumin or her village and upbringing justice.
As for the main anime, I guess there is one black furball of detail this one bought up but we could have had the same and still have a better grasp at Megumin, Yunyun and the Crimson Fuc- Devils.
