Bro it started at almost a rating of 7 and it start to go up and up by every episode and if I remember correctly it had a rating og 7.6 last week or 2 days ago ig but now it's 8.1 which makes it highest rated rom com this season (not counting skip and loafer cuz it's drama and there might be romance in future but not now)

Yeah, 11 hours after the first episode the rating was 7.06. This show was amazing, looking forward to season 2

Idk what myanimelist user be eating. This show does not deserve 8.10/10. I watch ever week and it felt like and pretty average rom com. Plus, on the last episode, they didn't even confess(sry for spoiling) . In my opinion, the highest rating I would give this anime is 7.40/10. The animation is 7.50/10, the over story 7/20/10, character development 5/10. I hope next season of this anime(airing in 2024) will add more romanic development.

You'll learn to not care about ratings overtime. People are just craving cute lovey-dovey moments from a supposed drought of that and people love hyping up average anime every season.

After 12 chapters, and a few pages read of the manga atm, I'll give it a 7.8/10, is a good romcom.
I liked the plot, the soundtracks the little suspense and some tolerance with the main character but that's part of it.
I recommend it and also read the manga tbh and I hope they do better with the second season.

bro for romance anime their development is very fast compare to another anime, and this have atleast one great moment every eps that make this anime great, tell me what romance for you that's better than bokuyaba this year, this show is far better than overrated romance like horimiya or sono bisque doll

yeah tbh the comeback was unexpected, i never thought it would increase this much. Im glad cuz i really liked the story, i think the studio did show love to the adaptation, and personally second season will be even better. Ichikawa will continue to grow and mature. Their relationship as well will grow, assuming they keep the pacing as they did in s1, we will see a confession. I still think this for me its the best rom com that i watched this season, as you do i dont consider skip to loafer for the same reason you mentioned. Miles better than loving yamada kun imo.

Lol even Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten can’t compete with this one. There are more lovey dovey scenes in that anime but even them couldn’t top with this show which is above 8. So what do u mean that people are just hyping for lovey dovey anime? Lollll

YESSSS I KNOW FROM THE START THAT THIS SHOW HAS SOMETHING UP IN THEIR SLEEVES..NOW WE ARE EATING GOOD ESPECIALLY WE WHO STILL WATCH THIS ANIME AFTER FIRST 3 EPISODES CUZ YEAH MOST OF THOSE D*MB PEOPLE DROPPED THIS ANIME AND TALKING CR*P OF IT LIKE THEY HAVE ALREADY FINISHED ALL 12 EPISODES BEFORE THEY EVEN AIRED THEM 🤣 FROM 6.9 TO 8.13 AND ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS ROMCOM IS BY FAR THE BEST ROMCOM THIS YEAR..NOT EVEN ANGEL NEXT DOOR SPOILS ME ROTTEN CAN COMPETE WITH THE DANGERS IN MY HEART.
