| I thought it was something interesting to share since some people are curious how the adaptation is doing so here it is: The TV Asahi’s end-of-fiscal year 2023 financial results were out and it was announced that The Dangers in My Heart anime has recorded the highest global sales for an anime program in the NUMAnimation programming block. This milestone comes from advanced sales of the series to international distribution partners, such as Sentai Filmworks in North America and ANIPLUS in Asia (Image below is from the slide showing the news)  This is kind of a big deal considering the NUMAnimation programming block already had series ranging from Yesterday wo Utatte, World Trigger, A Couple of Cuckoos and even BLUELOCK! Getting record sales between those is incredible news. Ever since around episode 5 and 6 the anime itself started to gain way more traction. Even the manga backlogs went way up, which end up granting some reprints: https://twitter.com/boku__yaba/status/1663097757475962882 Obviously, despite all of this there is no guarantee that a new season will come for sure, but after a very slow start this show is having one of the best increase on reception from this season. |
