The official website of the Hataraku Maou-sama! (The Devil is a Part-Timer!) television anime series revealed on Wednesday additional cast members, theme songs, key visual (pictured), and a second promotional video. The sequel of the second season premieres on July 13 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by MBS and AT-X.

Cast
Acieth Alla: Madoka Asahina (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai)
Farfarello: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
Erone: Megumi Han ("Oshi no Ko")
Camael: Chikahiro Kobayashi (Beastars)

Pop rock band nano.RIPE (Hataraku Maou-sama!) performs the opening theme "Hikari no Nai Machi" and Liyuu (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.) is performing the ending theme "bloomin." Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below.

Daisuke Tsukushi (Isekai Cheat Magician) returns to helm the new season at Studio 3Hz. Masahiro Yokotani (Hataraku Maou-sama!) is handling the series composition and Yuuta Iino (22/7 animation director) is designing the characters. Ryousuke Nakanishi (High School DxD) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Satoshi Wagahara's fantasy light novel, which originally began as a novel submission under the title Maoujou wa Rokujou Hitoma! (The Devil's Castle within a Six-tatami Room!) for the 17th Dengeki Taisho awards in November 2010 and won the Silver Prize along with Antiliteral no Arcanist. Dengeki Bunko began publishing the novel featuring illustrations by 029 (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) the following February and shipped the 21st and final volume on August 2020.

Akio Hiragi began drawing a manga adaptation in Dengeki Daioh in December 2011. Kadokawa shipped the 21st volume on May 26.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English in August 2014. The 21st light novel volume went on sale in April last year. The 19th manga volume was released on November 22, with the 20th volume scheduled to be released on September 19.

Keeping my expectations really low after the latest disaster. And they didn't change studio which is even worse for me.
