| Damn, they nailed it for the voice acting imo for the antagonists. You can hear the craziness tone. Nezuko is back in the fight now along with Tanjirou and they mount back a decent counterattack. On the emotional front, this was a tough one to watch. Sanemi's life represents the dark reality of their world, in which even one of their own family members (the father in this case) is abusive. Then, he'd also lose his mother...in the most despairing way possible. It's crazy. |

| Looks like the demons are still alive even after their beheadings. And, Genya didn't lose his control which was nice. Their teamwork was pretty nice. All of them doing their respective jobs. Genya going after that little rat was funny but things got serious quick. Genya's past was dark ngl. They were so happy a minute ago and then it was just despair for Genya. We also got to see Genya's big brother. Genya was full of holes in this episode. LOL. The episode was alright. Not my favorite. |

| Tanjiro is so slap-happy that it’s almost annoying, or maybe his encounters with Genya are. I mean there’s a dude ready to chew you alive, drooling all over the place and you were like… this is the usual Genya, my brotha, you take this and I’ll take that hahahaha…… Though a few things aside, it isn’t something out of surprise even beheading all four demons didn’t do a damn thing, as the presence of a fifth body aka the main body, tiny Hantengu, was still well and alive. So yeah all four came back from the grave and again started the hell show, not even flinching at the sight of those flashy and colourful moves. Better see something new then, right? Second half with Genya and his brother’s backstory gave plenty of insight into why and how those two turned out to be as brute as we know them now. A happy cheerful family who met their demise by the hands of none other than their own demon-turned mother was… just brutal. The brothers did survive but their relationship only got more and more stained, though the reason big brother hashira acts that way to Genya will be known going forward. But hey it isn’t that hard to guess it too lol. Tiny one is a pain and so was that cliffhanger. |

| Even with all 4 heads severed, we can't forget that Hantengu still has his main body cowering in fear somewhere. Idk if it was intended to be this way, but that goofy ass run they gave him was funnier than it should have been 😂 chopping off the main body's head won't be easy, as he appears to have a super hard neck. We got some Genya backstory to tug at the heart strings a bit, though I've never been a fan of mid-battle backstories. Then again, there probably was no better place to include it than here. So sad, to have your mother turned into a demon and she slaughters the whole family. And it only gets worse when Sanemi doesn't even realize that it was his mother that he killed until the sun came out. Now their strained relationship makes more sense. |

| Genya's past came to light. The brothers had it hard, with their mother turning into a demon and killing their siblings in front of them. Genya was muddled too at the time, just as any kid would be. Sanemi might have had my pity there, but somehow, his actions towards Nezuko, and his current behaviour ain't gonna get him pity from me. This episode had to end just when Tanjiro was swinging the sword against the mouse-sized demon. I wonder who's that lord the demon spoke of. I doubt Muzan would have said such detail about Tanjiro to them. I wonder. |

| Genya's so similar to Tanjiro. They both experienced the same things so I can see why Tanjiro finds him relatable. I'm surprised Genya doesn't have a breathing technique though. His brother is an interesting one, too. I wonder if there's more to him than his tough exterior because it does seem like he cares about Genya, like Tanjiro cares for Nezuko. |

| An amazing episode yet again. Demon slayer delivering emotional backstories again with genya being the focus this time. Cliffhanger ending. It's going to be a very interesting fight from now. |

| Given how many times we beheaded them looks like their heads are their weaknesses. Genya though is overambitious here. If anything peril would only serve to make Tanjiro grow even faster. Rather than being invisable being tiny is the best way to hide. The insight into Genya's past was quite tragic. Even more so when the killer was someone that you once loved as well. Damm Genya really took a bad hit there. Hope he survives. The midget is damm difficult to deal with though. |

| This episode was focusing more on genya and sanemi tragic life and with this backstory i really was getting emotional Genya is letting tanjiro the first step to kill this little fifth demon. What an amazing episode with this cliffhanger. |

| Usually flashback is a red flag... But I guess it's not always happen. Genya can't use breathing technique, so he use a gun if his katana doesn't work... Well, at least he got some super natural power to become a demon himself... The breathing technique is just a technique and not a real power... Guess only Genya got some 'power' in this anime. (Not included the demon) Of course he can't kill the upper moon... It's always the MC work... With the Hashira work too. Genya have an almost similar past with Tanjiro.... except for the abusive father and it was their mother that turned into a demon. Genya big bro must have some regret to see Tanjiro can calm a demon sister. Maybe he wish he did the same to his mother in the past. Just my guess. Ahaha. |

| Yep, I'm sorry, as emotional as they were trying to be, and I do appreciate the effort, mid battle backstories are just so cliched, and as brutal as that was, I couldn't really get invested in any of it. As I was watching, I rolled my eyes when the flashback started, saying "Here we go again". Sad backstories are not good characterization, in fact, it's honestly quite a lazy way to build character, since if a character can only be defined by tragedy, it's just not that memorable of a character. Then again, with how Demon Slayer is, I couldn't imagine anywhere else they could fit this backstory in. if Genya somehow survives through all this though, I will really not know what to say. Don't ruin this please. |

We still need to know about your chants, how you're such a badass as to resist the demon urges so well and also why you say you can't use breathing techniques. At least understand now why Wind Hashira has such a hatred for demons. Not only killed most of his family, but was forced to kill his own mother as a result :'( |

| I don't know what else to say about the lack of narrative quality of this anime, so I'll give it some praise. Another family of children was killed by a demon, but at least this time the artificial intelligence that created this manga had the decency to mention the names of the family members, something it forgot to do with the protagonist's family. Watching this season is the hardest task I've ever done in my life. It's also questionable how this fourth demon managed to survive for so long being so weak, not even being able to eliminate two teenagers who just started fighting recently. Imagine how it would be against a warrior trained for many decades, but it's just the nonexistent power play of this anime doing its bizarre things. |

| What an episode for Mothers Day. Dang, Genya and Sanemi went through it. The latter is still protecting his lil bro in his way. Talk about tough love lol. Great episode, Okamoto is giving it his all as always. |

| Ye ofc that wasn't the end of the uppermoon and there's a fifth body they need to behead. It's tiny but hard, can Tanjiro do it? Good to have more Nezuko action, she's been great this season. |
