Is this going to be the type of story where the MC falls head over heels for the guy and desperately chases after him to get his attention all while he relentlessly ignores her advances until, like, the final episode? I'm kind of turned off by those types of stories.

If it is that kind of story, can you convince me that this is still worth the watch?

She does falls first, but he does way harder
Also there's not much chasing, once he realizes he tells her
the manga is so good and if the anime does it justice, it's gonna be great

she realizes it first, I wouldn’t say she does much chasing though they just hang out as friends then he realizes he like her and they get together. That’s about it, the manga is pretty good though so worth a watch.

He's very upfront about his feelings once he realizes. they get together relatively early -

and a lot of the manga is about their relationship. It's very cute.
