If DBZ had the animation talent behind One Piece Red it would have outsold One Piece Red but it was just a cheap CGI movie that ended up a smash hit lol Dragonball doesnt try and jts still more well known. The years thing is slightly irrelevant since Dragonball was written for a decade, maintained popularity for another decade while off air, then was so well liked they continued it with Dragonball Super. Even children's series like Doraeman, Detectvie Conan, Anpanman. Series like Golgo, KochiKame, Oishonbo which ran and still run 200+ volumes. Just stop.
