Maybe if Suzume wasn’t involved, maybe he would have gotten back on time. |
| If he hadn’t met Suzume (if she wouldn’t have went looking for him) he would have closed the door and that would be the end of the story. Plenty of time to get back to take his test. That’s not to say, however, that things didn’t work out for the best for both of them :3 |
