| Gintoki is still sleeping during the OP reprise, but won't when it returns for full midway through the episode, including the italian credits. Also, "why do i appear this late if i'm the main character?" During a tv show about Shinsengumi, Kondo has a cardboard 1:1 cutout of him instead of being there in person, because he's too busy being a "love thief" (yeah, sure). Yes, you're useless and women will never accept you, lol Otae randomly saying "me and Gin will marry next fall". "...uhm, really?" Gin's dull surprise was the most perfect choice And finally, the narrator being tired of watching Shinsengumi arrive into actual action |

| i’m back for my 3rd rewatch of the series, gintama is a slow starter but it’s episodes like these that remind me how special it is. gintoki doing his whole “pay attention to me!!” bit is probably one of the the bits that made me decide to stick it out and see where the series takes me. |

@IBasic_YapperI Yes, I am. I watched Bleachand Evangelion as older anime. IDK how much old must be anime for you but peak is peak. Gintama is very funny and in some episodes sad. I can only say ABSOLUTE CINEMA
