I don't get this character. Is she trying to fix things in her own extreme ways or is she just playing the devil's advocate?

Forget about the main cast and other major side characters, I want more characterisation and time spent with this person!

To me Gotou doesn't seem to have the best intentions. I think she rejoices on creating drama, and for some reason she seems to have it in for Sumika.
I mean, why didn't she give the same advice she gave Kanoko to Nene? Why did she tell Kanoko, whom she knows doesn't like Sumika but someone else, to confess and date her but not Nene who actually liked her? And with this stunt she's pulling on right now, it's like she wants Sumika to suffer. Maybe she has something against straight girls, or girls who may or may not be lesbian... she's a total mystery.

Gotou is a smart in that she would fullfill her desire in all situations no matter how the other characters responded and using jealousy to spice up the situation.

What her intention is still unclear though.

My personal impression of Youko is that she doesn't seem as malicious as she initially did but she seems very into this idea of using jealousy to help people realise their real feelings. To be honest I'm quite surprised that she suggested that Kanoko date Sumika to help Sumika with her own feelings and keep her on Kanoko's side. I thought she suggested Kanoko should date her to make Hime jealous in the same way that Nene dated Youko to make Sumika jealous. Taking Kanako to a hotel and then leaking it to Nene seems pretty dodgy though, she certainly doesn't seem concerned about being seen as the bad guy as long as it furthers her goals.

I know most people don't really like Kanako but I'm also pretty surprised with how earnest she's has been about all this. She might love Hime and want to still be able to talk to Sumika (so she's not without her own motives) but she also seems to genuinely want to help Sumika with her issues with love. I thought it was quite nice when she approached Nene about it earlier too. She's come a long way from the timid girl that wouldn't even speak to anyone else at the start. It's nice to see her taking some positive action, even if it looks like it's going to blow up in her face.

Gotou should do with Kanoko-Chan what she wants, she's a vamp after all and I don't care for her anymore. I want to her to break up with Sumika. The volume goes the way I want to see, back to Sumika x Nene, and I hope the story will get this both together in the end.
