| That's just the artstyle of the manga...who was emulating the late 1970's/early 1980's manga style, wich for the show as yankee/sukeban were the teen trends of those times. |

| I like it. It's rare to see a non-standard art style in anime, and the bold lines are pretty appealing. I wouldn't want every anime to look like this, but I'm kind of sick of anime for the last 5 years or so all looking the same too. |

| I actually like the artsyle... it is particular but in a good way. In my opinion at least. It's at least diverse from that freaking generic artsyle most anime get. |
