Hello Gundam fans, before watching this i wanted to know if it looked better than witch from Mercury, i know it sounds kinda strange since wfm was realeased in 2022 i believe and orphans in 2013 o 2015 and also by sunrise both, but maybe I'm wrong so tell me pls :⁠^⁠)

Imo, yes because the character designs looks way better.

Animation-wise, both are good, probably the same level.

So Art is better, Animation is equal

I personally like Iron Blooded Orphans better. I think the darker tones and style is better suited for Gundam. Witch from Mercury is cool though I do like it

IBO Gundam is my favourite out of all of them, the action is so good plus it has a sad but good ending

out of all the Gundam series not on the Univeral Century line, I love IBO the most! I personally recommend the series to anyone who never watched Gundam series before and you won't be needing to watch other series prior IBO to understand it.

Personally I think IBO is a masterpiece! I even have tattooed a quote by Orga on my wrist.. Actually I’ve even lost count how many times I had already binge-watched it! ^^ The plot, the character development and every details are great, so as the music and the art style! I might be a bit older then average anime lovers, but this story is quite endearing for ppl in my age as well! I would definitely suggest you to give it a go and indulge yourself into Tekkadan’s heroic, uplifting & passionate universe! (y)

I agree with this, and I don't even like IBO. I'd even go as far to say that the visceral nature of IBO's combat is more impressive, as it doesn't rely on the flashy beam effects like WFM

I haven't watched much of mercury yet but some of the mech animation was definitely cleaner/more on model in IBO. Maybe it gets better in mercury later on though.
Other than that both shows have great animation.

Bro they’re different stories though the animation on mercury looks crazy and I finished ibo but it is gundam

Witch From Mercury has romcom character designs. Orphans has a weirdly (for Gundam and for the era it came out) cartoony character designs. Orphans has way more robots and characters, so more artwork.

Show sucks and fans are literal cockroaches pushing their ibo supremacy in gundam groups. Constantly shitting on seed, wing etc. Fk ibo. Bring in the pesticides and push out the ibo fans and Gundam fandom would be much better.
