After listening to it I 100% agree with u. Fits with crappy isekai/harem no.100000, but not a serious crime thriller

I agree that the sound of the song doesn't really fit the type of anime this is, but I imagine it was selected based on the lyrical content. I'd have to find an English translation of the lyrics but if I had to guess, they probably used this song because the themes of the lyrics were fitting for the show.

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

I do love it honestly its a banger, it might be one of my fave op this season. I cant see anything wrong with the op and to all those people above my comment who rantly said that this song fits harem/isekai and it was crappy, they must've havent heard much about this artist singer. If you looked through the meaning of this op song it would make sense about the plot of this anime I dont know whats with the hate from this people just be glad that we had an amazing banger op. Theres lots of anime out there that has really amazing plot and animation with more crappy ost so be greatful atleast that it aint anything like that.

well first of all it was a super generic upbeat jpop song. Second of all it doesn’t even slightly fit the dark gritty vibe of the show, the visuals are mid and even if I was listening to the song separate of the show it wouldn’t be that good. It’s ok if you like it, but even if you do it doesn’t fit the vibe of the show even slightly

I mean... It has very crappy animation, which kinda screams that this series will have it bad. For the opening itself, it kinda makes sense, cuz u can tell it's supposed to encapture dad's love for his daughter. Most of the stuff that it shows signifies that. So rather than focusing on heavy themes of this show it focuses on the reasoning behind them. Nothing to fuss about.

I agree, I like the opening a lot. And I like that the upbeat sound doesn’t fit an anime this dark at all, but the lyrics fit really well. Too many people are overly critical just for the sake of being critical. It’s okay to like things.
