I only knew the last one was out in cinemas in the UK because me and my friends had some ramen in town and checked the cinema and saw it was airing, otherwise, id have missed it. Today i realised i missed kaguya sama which came out last month and now I guess i realised I missed this. I thought i heard it came itu in Jan in Japan so didnt expect it to be out yet but app not. However, what seems to happen with a lot of anime movies is if im not lucky ill completely miss them as I'll know when they come out in Japan but completely forget about them until its too late. Hell, for saekano i was hyped when the movie was announced but randomly saw it on latest updates on a site 1.5 years later lmao. Its so annoying. Only two i have really been conscious about have been one piece film red and suzume cos they are advertised. Its aslo so annoying how suzume comes out like 6 months after Japan but then Kaguya comes out 3 months? When was this sao movie actually released for US and UK people? It is actually so annoying.

I live in Australia. SAO came out on Feb 2nd. Kaguya-sama was out in cinema 1 week later. There isn't much advertising in general - I usually check the cinema apps to find out (sometimes some anime sites advertise it) or otherwise I usually Google it. Most movies are out only for a week max here depending on the cinema (mainstream stuff like Demon Slayer is an exception) and sometimes anime movies only air at one cinema (had to go a further cinema to see part 1 of SAO Progressive ).

Yeah its the same here so I'm so mad with myself. It was probably a combination of having one piece and suzume advertised in cinema and the fact that suzume i knew its release date straight away and it was so long from its japan release. Just so annoyed with myself. Like, I caught quintessential quintuplets but not sao or kaguya haha. I could have seen slime as well but chose not to. Its so frustrating.
