Any news on a possible season 2?

Just that.
I'd like to see if this story goes anywhere, and get a a few more episodes worth of fun action.
Does anyone know if there are plans for a second season, or how much of the manga they covered in season 1?

If a season 2 ever comes it’ll be years. Season 1 took a couple years to make and it shows. The manga is releasing in US in hardcover tho

David Pro is pretty busy at the moment with JOJO and Urusei Yatsura, but even so, it'd be nice if they could finish this series off.

Idk about the s2 but regarding the manga, the anime stopped at half of Volume 4 and immediately skipped to Volume 7 in the 6th episode idk why they did that but if they make a season 2 they could adapt the remaining volumes but unfortunately if you wanna read it there are no scans anywhere rn :(

Yeah i think season 1 is not yet finished it will return as a 2nd cour, in the spriggan wiki they have marked season 1 having 11 episodes so i think new episodes will be released now that JoJo and Urusei yatsura s1 have been finished

There's still material in the original manga left to animate, and good material at that imho. Plus the last episodes ends with a cliffhanger basically, as we are told that

so clearly they left the door open for a sequel intentionally. Of course Netflix could decide to just cut the series if it did not meet its expectations, but, given also that in Japan they are bringing this season to cinema theaters, I think there's cause for hope.
