Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha adapts Okemaru's romantic comedy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in December 2018. Hobby Japan acquired the novel and began publishing under the HJ Bunko label in June 2020, featuring illustrations by Mizore Saba. The seventh volume shipped in August 2022, and the eighth volume is set to release on April 1. Popuri Yoshikita began serializing a manga adaptation on the Shounen Ace Plus magazine in March 2021.
