So I finally got around to watching the anime movie rendition of this story. Good one but I was curious about a few things. How different is the anime film from the live action film, manga, and LN? The live action movie did well in theaters but I honestly don't know if I can sit through the story again right now and would rather people who have experienced the other forms of this story to compare them all.
Second and third questions are more specific to a couple of scenes in the anime movie so spoiler in this one.

I read the LN and the scene where he pins her down was a lot better in the book. The parts where she's talking about dying are a lot more dramatic too, in my opinion.

I have only watched the anime of "IWTEYP" & till this date I consider it as the best anime movie I ever watched

So anime holds high for me, although if we are talking about differences, I got to know that there is only one major difference between anime & manga, i.e.

When our protagonist pins her down on the bed, I was like, "Oh my god, this is so awkward; is something going to happen?" but I like the way that nothing happened and they basically let go of those memories.

Basically, I like the way that the scene didn't play out the way I thought it was going to go.

I watched both live action and the anime
I can tell that the live action was bad. it was awkward.

At least in my opinion.

the anime didn't elaborate that scene very much... hardly a 2 min scene...she got a bit serious and then he realised something...felt sorry and left her home...well kind of
