LOL, this anime is going through every rom-com trope in the book, even one with maid themes! Still, it's fun to watch especially seeing Tomo in the role of a maid. It's cool that she took the job to surprise Jun's birthday though.

We also got casting for a Cinderella play...wow. They really giving us fans entertainment.

I mean it’s totally obvious the business will boom, all you need are some cute girls and the customers will come running, be it at a ramen store. Also more reason, if someone like Carol doing the mascot and Tomo doing the waitress in dresses which totally isn’t some ramen shop original and totally alike those we see in maid cafes. Though girls did the task at the end of the day, so that’s all it matters, after all this whole pastime was just a way for Tomo to earn some pocket money to give Jun a birthday present.

But you know, Jun was in for an even more “better” birthday present. Accidentally grabbing Tomo’s huge honkers would’ve made such an unforgettable memory but life happens… dude grabbed Carol’s in exchange lmao. Hell yeah.

Time for the cultural festival… that one euphoric event every japanese schooler wishes to live atleast once in their life. So you know the stakes, and thus that good ol’ Cinderella play is that something our characters will partake in. Though Misuzu as Cinderella and Tomo as prince sounds a totally out of place cast lol. This too when Misuzu already had her hands full with plenty of things. But I remember this will be fun.

Dude, the business is booming this week, lmao. Ramen shop having maids as employees certainly is an unconventional method, but certainly one that brings in money, oh yeah. Even Jun approves.

And hey, look, a nice matching sport watches as a birthday present, now the two truly look just as ... a team ... Also, please don't kick people from the stairs, that's very dangerous ... in more than one sense ... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Tomo going to work to earn some extra money to buy a present for Junichiro's birthday, why not? As long as it's not shady...

Tanabe's ramen shop for the first part-time job, Tomo, Misuzu and Carol dressed nicely, albeit in a maid uniform of course and Misuzu being the exception. Misuzu well-versed in the service industry and Tatsumi tyring his luck on her but to no avail, Carol is as good as dead weight and popularity unhinged, and Tomo is flustered. That's if Junichiro didn't drop by being a regular towards Tanabe's family restaurant, and Tomo is over the moon after getting praise from the man himself. Never has Tanabe's business grew so much for a sizable pay, that even without their mother, the place would benefit so much from making a deal with the devil. This is enough for the birthday present, and the two resumed their relationship as such.

Tomo wanting to get close to Junichiro but asking Misuzu to force her way through...is quite like her. And Misuzu really is a devil to kill Junichiro, which Tomo was so ready for, but bumped onto Carol instead and grabbing by her breast lols. Misuzu's karma caused her to fall towards Tanabe, and all he got is her contact info lols. And Carol trying to comfort Misuzu through skinship, man, she doesn't let anything slide over her, said girl herself fell sick over not wanting for both Tomo and Junichiro to be together.

The culture festival play of Cinderella, asking Misuzu to be the protagonist doesn't really fit her role lols. With Carol playing one of the stepsisters, Tomo being the prince and Junichiro being a lone tree, Misuzu feels like she's been held back while everyone is moving forward. The script memorization will be fun but tough.

Ganbatte for the culture festival, everyone. Especially Misuzu.

Misuzu getting the one roll she doesn't want, tho somewhat expected.
So who is learning Carol how to behave like a panda?
They where working hard in that store to earn some money and draw in customers it was funny to watch.
Also the dropping down the stairs part was funny.

Lmaooo at Jun falling down the steps and grabbing Carol instead of Tomo, bro is just allergic to making the right move 😂. Poor misuzu, she been carrying a lot on her shoulders and it’s caused she and Tomo to grow a little distant. Tomo misses her best friend :/ solid advice from Jun but he needs to take his own advice.

Suzu looked stunning in her costume, tho.

Getting a part time job to earn extra money towards gifts is a nice direction to aim for. The service industry is a role that i never though Tomo would try. Hmm the outfits that they wore at the restaurent sure were nice. Funny that only Tomo and Carol wore it. In normal mode Misuzu would dazzle anyone. If anything i think she would look good in the uniform that Tomo wore. Misuzu as cinderella was a role that was really unexpected. Carol though really was perfect for the stepmom. They really went pretty far for the costumes though. Tomo and Jun's prac at the end sure was fun. Looking forward to seeing the play now.

Misuzu is facing the decisions of her past. Her constant degradation of Tomo made the latter feel like she couldn't be worthy of Jun. Misuzu didn't meaningfully intend to have Tomo thinking she wasn't enough its just how their friendship grew. Tomo constantly seeking out advice from Misuzu while she kept trying to make Tomo change instead of embrace herself. Misuzu feels an immense amount of guilt for how she's made Tomo think of herself. She's seeing everyone around her move forward and it's causing this sudden reflection and isolation. Jun is right though that Misuzu just needs to talk it out with Tomo to solve the issue, funny how her missing school lead to the play cast being what it is. Carol volunteering Misuzu for the role of Cinderella is perfect. It was so funny seeing Misuzu reaction. Tomo as the prince seems obvious but still funny. This isn't the first time I've seen an oddly cast anime school production of Cinderella. Hopefully we see the actual play here like that one. The beginning of the episode was much lighter with the girls working part-time at Tanabe family ramen shop. They all did great jobs helping customers and wearing those cute dresses. Jun coming to see Tomo and saying the ramen taste better with her serving it was so cute. Tomo is even starting to see he's changing.

Misuzu feeling troubled about what she said to Tomo back in middle school. Instead of Tomo it feels like she's the one cursed to worry about Tomo. She looked beautiful in Cinderella outfit though. Also Tomo sure had fun making Jun play Cinderella.

The three idiots go to work part-time. That was fun.

They didn't show Jun's birthday party. Kinda disappointing.

This Cinderella play rehearsal was fun. Hope they'll actually show it in the next episode instead of skipping it.

Am I the only one that found Jun as a tree the most amusing? Tomo really looked like a handsome lady killer in the prince's outfit. Misuzu  finally realized that she has hindered Jun and Tomo's relationship rather than helping after her plan to accidentally push Jun down the stairs blows up in smoke when Jun landed on Carol instead of Tomo. It all stems from Misuzu giving Tomo bad advice back in middle school that Tomo should act more like a girl when in reality its literally impossible for her because she's more of a gorilla girl. The more progress Jun and Tomo make the more lonely Misuzu feels and it got so bad that she ended up avoid Tomo for three days pretending to be sick. Now Misuzu  is forced to play the role of Cinderella while Tomo is the prince. It really drives home that Jun and Misuzu are similar in a way that they overthink when it comes to Tomo and that both of them have to face Tomo head on emotionally.

The Misuzu character development in this episode was really nice! I also enjoyed how it addresses the issue of "acting like a girl" and what a silly, closeminded idea it is :)

This show just keeps getting better. None of the episodes are "fillers" or recaps. There's no blatant product placement or other advertising. The comedy, the drama, the music are all just perfect. And Misuzu is stealing the show. She was amazing!

Ah, so we're getting Misuzu's character arc now, that's good. We got to see Misuzu not just glare at people, and actually treat some people nicely this episode. This Cinderella play will probably progress something, we'll see how it goes, with two episodes remaining.

Junichirou was really surprised to see Tomo in that outfit.
Misuzu always comes up with the odd ways to try and get them together, but in the end this ended up helping Tanabe.
Gonna be interesting to see how Tomo and Misuzu pull of the characters for this play.
Hopefully no other wardrobe malfunctions for Tomo...

Seeing the 3 girls working in the ramen shop was nice and Misuzu's smile went from nice to scary especially when she kept telling Tatsumi to repeat what he said about them acting like a couple while working. I was a little bummed that they did not show Tomo and Jun celebrating his birthday at her house though, that would've been nice too.

I've grown a little more fond of Misuzu even though I still think she's manipulative and her pushing Jun off the stairs was crazy but at least she seems to be realizing that she has messed up (although avoiding Tomo was not the right call either). Btw she did look pretty in the Cinderella dress and having her hair done. Meanwhile Carol took the boob grab lilke a champ and it did not bother her at all whereas it really bothered Tomo lol.

This was one of my favorite episodes for this series, I was entertained throughout.

Another one of those episodes that becomes a new favorite episode lol, really enjoyed both halves of this one, the first half with the girls working at Tanabe’s family restaurant was really fun with each of them shining at certain aspects and failing at others, I would have loved to see Gundou in that uniform too but it was close enough lol, and of course Jun ended up showing up but that made for some excellent Tomo reactions. And the girls ended up being paid extra thanks to Gundou’s “convincing” in the end lol. And the 2nd half was very Gundou focused which greatly pleased me, after going a bit too far with her shenanigans regarding Tomo and Jun she starts to reflect on herself a bit and how she’s been doing things, also enjoyed her little bit with Tanabe after he caught her from falling down the stairs lol, but hey he got her number so let’s go!

And of course Gundou ended up being cast as Cinderella in the class’ play for the school festival which was met with some of the best Gundou reactions of the show lol, and wow she got absolutely babe’d up with that princess costume, as well as Tomo with her prince costume, was not expecting an exploding shirt there tho lol. And it took me a bit to realize that it was Fall in the show but man they did a great job on the Fall backgrounds, I’m an absolute sucker for Fall stuff lol, and that last bit with Jun and Tomo practicing lines was a hilarious and cute way to end it.

Misuzu seems to really hate Jun. It's a bit off putting to be honest and is spoiling the dynamic between the characters somewhat. Would be nice if that animosity got dealt with in whatever way before the show ends otherwise I fear it'll spoil the ending like a sour fruit in a fruit basket.
