It's pretty damn evident that the language that the characters speak in Trigun is English and the series is basically a Western flick. Yet the cars in the show is driven on the wrong side of the road?

Because it obviously takes place around Karachi.

What road? They're driving through the desert.

"wrong" side of the road is a bit of a strong sentiment considering not every English speaking country drives on the same side of the road and there's a solid argument to be made that the world of Trigun could've been inspired by Australia a la Mad max.
But at the end of the day, as poemofdevil has already pointed out, this is a fantasy setting with virtually no roads to speak of, so the distinction hardly matters /shrug

"Western flick" and "cars" mentioned within the same complaint and the irony was still lost in the dust of that roadless desert. What a time to be alive.

Japanese anime made for Japanese audience.
Also, in England they also drive on the left side.

Yup. As a British person, I agree on that. But it’s a desert tho…

See, I understand what your saying and ignoring the reality part… they’re driving in the middle of a desert on a planet that isn’t even earth. To me it would be evident that they aren’t speaking english nor Japanese because of that fact…

Cannoticly the author of Trigun said that they are speaking English in an interview from way back.

Oh, I didn’t know about that, still either way they’re not on earth, and they’re driving in the middle of a desert.

Nice catch.

I guess it's an oversight on the part of the producers. The 1998 series and the movie have the driver's seat on the left.

And yes this is a sci-fi/western setting (see Western movies) with lots of donuts (or pizza in this case)... Nightow's other series (BBB) takes place in an alternate New York.
