I'm glad Ariko's alive and he'll eventually finish that Makiri too, that's nice.

Welp Koito has started doubting Tsurumi, this won't end well.

ARIKOS ALIVE WOOHOOO!!!

Wow the last few panels with Koito doubting Tsurumi were pretty tense. That last panel was also pretty nice.

Also, not gonna lie, I’m really glad that Koito is self aware and isn’t a mindless subordinate

Glad that Ariko survived. Guess Tsukishima would be harder to redeem if he did indeed kill Ariko.

Tsurumi's goals remain a mystery. He'll probably end up all alone by the end with no one to follow him, fighting alone and ending up dying.

I also like the parallels at the end, with the door closing. If ya'll remember, Tsurumi was the one in the flashback who opened the door for Koito and now Koito is the one who's closing the door on Tsurumi. Koito's growth from Tsurumi's fanboy to his current self is rly gr8. He matured.

I absolutely love the duality of Golden Kamuy. Everything is getting intense and then we get Ogata wiggling his butt under the fence

Ah, Vasily, our favorite Hood Guy! I was wondering what he was doing.

Normally we'd say "both hands on the wheel" and "keep your eyes on the road" but Sugimoto comforting Asirpa was a much needed moment after the horror that was "Tsurumi Theater". No words needed, just the comforting solidarity of one arm wrapped securely around her.

The last page made me immediately think of the final scene of The Godfather and it seems it was intentional.
Looks like Koito and Tsukishima's views of Tsurumi have switched. Koito's blind idolization of Tsurumi is beginning to crumble while Tsukishima is blinded by his own feelings of relief that Tsurumi isn't a hypocrite and that he didn't throw away what was most precious to him for nothing.
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

That's the thing with Tsurumi. He creates stories where it's hard to discern the real truth from everything else, he never let's his guard down and keeps the act up all the way.

He's like an onion. You keep on peeling the layers off him and there's still more. I think that he'll die before we even are sure we got the whole truth behind his intentions. Such a great character

Damn, so how much of that was the truth and how much was a calculated act to convince Tsukishima once and for all? I really can't read Tsurumi at all. He is such a fascinating character.

I have binged last 5 chapters together and damn, it was a treat. This really is the best manga ever.

This has to be one of my favorite chapters. The last panel was amazing. Tsukishima is my second fav character but only when he is doubting Tsurumi. Not like the previous chapter where he had baby eyes after shooting Ariko, lol. I hope Koito wakes him up.

that 3 pages section with asirpa finding boutarou body and sugimoto holding on to her made me cry
