| Damn, this episode was brutal, blood spilled and limps being blown off. Seriously, when a joruney reaches to this point, you know that anything can possibly happen. It's also incredible Touko's party made it this far given the uncertainity of their world. Not everyone is looking in top shape but they gotta do what it takes to survive. |

| As Touko and Co. travels on the small boat with the ailing Shouzou, fire hunter Akira and Spider boy Kun, the tombwhale god of the sea is a thing of magnificence. Koushi following capital fire hunter Roroku and his hound Mizore in catching the fiends in the dark, and upon encountering other fire hunters working for the Okibis' also looking for spiders with ancient fire to eradicate. But one escaped, and Koushi is made to live the cruelsome reality. Reaching the capital was a matter of time, and Touko and the others landed safely to help Shouzou find a doctor's for recovery. With the rest living on rest time, recouping their losses has to be done urgently, and while Kanata's family has to be found quickly, it's getting Shouzou's medicine and returning to their lodging. With Kanata taking a detour and sensing its owner, but eventually getting the wrong person, the Capital is a very sinister place where one can easil get lost, like how Touko is like now. But her about to be saved by the Okibi's daughter, will she and Koushi have that reunion soon? The most consistent episode so far, of the lot. |

| Touko arrives at the capital, and the group is battered and bruised, but they survived, and that's all that matters. As for Koushi, he saw the gruesomeness of fire hunting, and it was sure bloody. Of course, the most interesting part is the potential reunion of Kanata and Koushi, now that Touko has had a run in with Kira. |
| Good paced episode with interesting moments: the first contact with a Spider, Touko finally in the capital… for sure the most consistent episode so far |

| Finally everything is coming together. The touko Koushi meeting is just around the corner. I actually was not expecting the sister to be there lol that was cool end to the episode. Some more world building with the spiders acquiring the ancient flame. I wonder how they got it in the first place. Great episode |

| I enjoyed watching this episode, the storyline is coming together. Koushi learning more about what's going on behind the scenes such as hearing that the spider people can now use ancient flame via bugs, although witnessing the brutal hacking of that spider guy was traumatizing. Meanwhile Touko made it to the capital but got lost due to Kanata running off, presumably to the location of his former master's house. Amazing coincidence that Kira was around when Touko got lost, hopefully Kira helps out but Touko still needs to deliver the medicine. |

| The whale did end up a bit anticlimactic, Koushi did get a taste of the fire hunting. Noot a bad episode by any means, production is truly in a crunch though. |

| Damn that city layout is confusing AF, i kinda understand why Touko start crying she is a little girl and not used to be in a City like this. Oh boy finally Touko meet up with Kira. |

| Love where this is finally going! I've been losing interest these past few episodes but this one definitely reignited it! The animation still looks a bit weird at certain points, like where that spider guy lunged himself at Koushi. That looked a bit odd to me. I also felt like the lighting on the characters when they were in the dark felt a bit weird too, but both of these problems weren't nearly as bad as say in past episodes. This definitely felt like an improvement, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes now! It looks like it's going to really pick up now! Edit: completely forgot to even mention it, but what was up with that whale lol that felt so anti-climactic after we caught a glimpse of it at the end of the last episode |

| Wow a tombwhale. Such a cool name btw and i almost thought it'll cause a harm for the crew. But looks like its just go away like what Touko ordered to those big guy, as if its understand. Just wow. And i took it wrong over the encounter plot those both might have. Touko turned out reach the capital in a sound and healthy conditions while Koushi, even though yes he safe and healthy too, but way to go as his first journey, man. Hope he find something to learn there and decide something to do before bad shit reach him, or for the worst, to Touko too... Good thing that even though the poor girl get lost because she was wandering with Kanata, she ended up meeting with Kira which actually nice and beautiful and its almost a good solid way to reach her into Koushi already for the next episode. Let's see... |
