I enjoyed this episode, but thought the first one was better.

I can't believe the amount of comments on here of people not understanding the whole deal with the stamps and their connection to the angel/whole story really.

Kouki meets the girl Yuki who is looking for an angel after her brother goes missing. Her brother was a hacker who started hanging out in a bad place and got tangled up with bad people. Those bad people wanted to assassinate a government official. The bad people got the hacker to find out which route the government official would be taking in town so they could figure out the best place to kill him on that route. The assassin only takes rare valuable stamps as payment for his kills. In the real world, the most valuable stamp ever sold was for $9.5M. It's pretty safe to assume that the stamp in this anime world would be really expensive too since it's the oldest stamp in Japan. Whether the assassin wants the stamp for his own collection due to its rarity or he wants to sell it for profit, it's still a lucrative payday.

As for the angel part, Apos turns the hacker into an angel. The hacker/angel knows that killing everyone connected to the assassination plot is the only way to protect his sister, Yuki. So, hacker/angel kills the government guy that got Rin to look for the stamp, a Russian pretending to be American, a hooker and a pimp that were used to lure him into the plot, another girl that was involved in the plot, and finally the assassin.

I thought the angel and stamp stories were woven together to provide a vividly clear picture of what was going on.

Mimi was really cute at several points during this episode. The angels' sexual aspect is pretty creepy, but I'm not saying it doesn't fit the story. This show is super pulpy with all of the torture porn and sex, but that isn't stopping me from enjoying it.

Lol, I feel like no one in the show appreciates Kouki Maeno's kindness. Then again, maybe he just never gets irritated on account of lacking emotions. But I feel like no matter how much his heart is put into something, his actions are usually received with indifference. I did like the scene with him and Mimi, though.

I think the premise of this episode was pretty damn hard to understand, but @leofiregod broke it down pretty good, and I've gained a newfound appreciation for the episode.

This episode was something else. It wasn't as good as the first one, especially for the actual substance in it but man oh man it just was so over the top with all the bullshit that I laughed and had a good time watching it, especially lost it when Rin was having a full-blown makeout session with Shogo, an angel in midair while she was trying to kill him during said process. Rin's an immortal and Shogo's a devil, so in this show, immortals lust whenever they see angels and angels want to devour immortals, that's why she was horny when seeing Shogo and Shogo constantly wanted to bite her and devour her.

The story had too much going on, trying to balance the supernatural nature of angels and immortals and teasing a lot on that front, to maintaining ground with a serious plot when trying to locate that stamp that the Professor had but lost when he was severely injured that felt underbaked, despite having some links with the supernatural content in angels when the hacker/Yuki's brother was turned to an angel. Plus tack on the yuri/sex scenes in the middle and you have a full on carcrash of an episode with events happening. But like I said, while the first episode was definitely better and more coherent, this episode was dumb fun and that's what I'm cool with from a show I call a pure guilty pleasure. Great music as usual too.

Can anyone explain why the angel was trying to get revenge? Literally have spent almost an hour trying to figure out the plot of this episode (hopefully the following ones aren't as confusing). Maybe I'm missing something but to me it felt like there were a lot of things left unexplained or were supposed to be "implied." So here's what I don't get:
1. Why does the angel want revenge against the people he killed?
2. What was the significance of the pimp and the woman being killed? In both the sub and dub (yes I watched both just in case there were some translation discrepancies that would be cleared up) it says that they were used to bribe the Foreign Ministry guy (who I understand wanted the pro-western Secretary General Androvsky dead) into cooperating and giving information, but like...what does that mean?
3. Who was the girl the Yuki's brother (the angel) got the files from? Was she the Foreign Ministry guy's lover? How was she in possession of the files in the first place?
If anyone could explain that would be great but I doubt anyone's gonna see this since it's not too popular of a show.

Strange episode, and I bet they'll probably get stranger. It's good though. The whole angel and immortal stuff is pretty interesting, and I'm really excited for when we get all the backstory and stuff.

I have no idea how the guy above even managed to piece everything together, you probably need to rewatch this drab garbage at least once to understand everything.

The plot thickens... Still waiting for everything to come together though cause it still don't make no sense.

Also feels like I'm watching a Hollywood movie with the amount of sex scenes lmao
