If the last few years have taught me anything with Shaman King and Hoshi no Samidare, then I'm going to remain wary of this until I've seen the final product. That said, I do want to take a look at the people working on it.

Starting with the director, Tatsuo Satou, I've got some mixed feelings. It's not as foreboading as when I saw the resume of the director of Hoshi no Samidare (who hadn't directed a show above a 7 since the 90s), and the trailer proves that this series will at least have animation, but the last time this guy was a director was in 2019 with Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains, which he became director on in 2017. He doesn't have the most ipressive lineup of work, despite being in the industry for a long time. This has me a bit worried. I haven't seen Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains, so I don't know how good the directing was in it, but it kind of seems like this is going to end up looking pretty average, or barely above average at best. I don't think it's going to be a shaky-cam slideshow like Hoshi no Samidare, but I don't think it's going be super impressive.

For the scrip, I'm a little more confident. The two people we know are working on the script are Mitsutaka Hirota and Toshizou Nemoto. For one thing, Mitsutaka Hirota did the script for Hunter x Hunter 2011, as well as the scrips and some episode scripts for a bunch of shows that are pretty well liked. More recently, he hasn't done a whole lot, but that's not enough to worry me too much. The works of Toshizou Nemoto that I find most notable are his episode scrips. He did episode scripts for some pretty well regarded shows, such as Steins;Gate and Space Brothers. More recently, he did a couple episode scrips for Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Gekitotsu. The most recent TV anime he did the script on was Sakugan. I'm a lot less nervous about these two than I am about the director, but I think I'm still going to temper my expectations.

What about you guys? Is there anything you can say about any of the staff that we know about? One thing that does make me a little less nervous is that this show was announced a whole year ago, and we're not getting it until Summer, so there has been a good ammount of time to work on it. I don't know if that'll actually make a differnce though.

The sound director and music staff are amazing. So that’s a plus. We also have the art director from ngnl who I trust very much. Other then that I’d say everyone else is fine. The director is the only tiny downside. I’d say it’ll be fine

I can also confirm that the manga is story driven. I don’t think it will need crazy animation to atleast be good

Why you wasting time writing such a long paragraph. If you a veteran you would've already realized the trailer had average art style. Reading the manga is better experience in this case.
