It doesn’t seem all that likely tbh. There’s little-to-no reason that the production committee for RZ would let go of White Fox, or that MAPPA would be interested in a show like Re:Zero when, with an exception or two, they’ve never worked produced a Light Novel adaptation or Isekai before

God willing not.
Any change in staff can ruin the anime. I don't believe there is any staff that can surpass what White Fox studio did for Re:Zero

Almost the whole main staff who did the most work in rezero is not at white fox anymore. A lot of them went to studio bind doing moshoku tensei and to the studio that animates uncle from another world

Mappa never seems to be interested in LN adaptations and considering that more than half of White Fox staff left already i dont think they can do as good job as what they have done so Studio Bind is somewhat what i think most suitable for RZ S3

We know Mappa loves big titles and even like to animate sequels to popular animes. Rezero is very popular and obviously getting a season 3 announcement in Anime Japan this year. Rezero is having a red Stage and even the new novel volume announcement is postponed because of animejapan. Currently whitefox studio is animating other animes and Isekai Ojisan studio had problems because of covid. I have no doubt a new season will be announced. But do you think Mappa will take it? We already know OPM season 3 will be announced also

I hope, if it is MAPPA, it's the original team, sort of like Vinland saga.

If it's not MAPPA, I hope the current team is able to get more resources for it.

Campfire cooking exists, and is being made by MAPPA.

The only reason I'd find it hard to work on it is that I don't think Mappa has worked on a KADOKAWA made production. But that's just me thinking, I could be wrong.

Honestly, I'm scared of what could happen...
I believe that the ideal thing at the moment is for Studio Bind to be responsible for the 3rd season, after all it's the closest we have to the old staff, otherwise, I don't know what could come out of it

Yeah, studio bind would be probably the best but i think they will fully concentrate on mushoku tensei, since they are founded just for the production of it.
At this point i just hope that we get a third season, even if its animated by a complete different studio. There are a lot of good studios out there, and im not just talking about the big ones like Mappa, A1, etc. Im sure they could find capable people, who at least do an decent job

It is possible there can be a collaboration between White Fox + MAPPA.

Neither White Fox nor MAPPA is skilled enough to handle Re:Zero. Combining the strengths of both may succeed but not entirely sure, MAPPA should never touch directing the series and only draw fight scenes.

Currently, White Fox is helping with MAPPA's new isekai airing this season.

White Fox + Ufotable collab would be best for Re:Zero Season 3.

Altelier pondarc is more likely to take the show, but then KADOKAWA had to have a multitude of delays, so they might not trust them.

My bet is on 3hz.

Majority of Rezero staff shifted to Studio Bind so thats why Bind is still the best option.

i heard that it was done by a different team than Mushoku Tensei. Untill the key animators of Mushoku Tensei finish their work with main things the other animators worked on a different show since they had nothing to do. something like that. So getting Bind to rezero is unlikely. but if Mappa picks it up I won't complain tho.

Don't think Bind would pick another major project till they're done with Mushoku Tensei. but I think Mappa can somehow pull it off when it comes to the fights of season 3

A lot of people hate mappa without ever saying why, lol. Personally, I think with the state White Fox is in there is no way they are doing re zero, Hell, I hope they don't. They could not do the series justice in their current state. They are a shadow of their former self and have been handing off their main series left and right. Bind would be my first choice as well, but with mushoku, I doubt they take on another big series. With how many fights season 3 would have, I think Mappa would be a great choice. Sure, there are other good studios that could take it, but so far, Mappa have done a great job with the anime they have done, and I have faith they could do Rezo justice.

You are crazy. Maybe they do a good job with Vinland Saga because from what has been reported it's basically the same staff as the first season, but they don't have the ability to do anything for Re:Zero

I didn't said Ufotable to take Re:Zero, they would ruin it. I said collab between White Fox + Ufotable where Ufotable help with fighting scenes.

Also Ufotable helped Re:Zero Season 2, you can see their name on after credits.

I would want WiT studio take it completely from White Fox.

If that were the case, it would be my 3rd favorite anime being taken by MAPPA lol.
Tbh I would be fine with that idea even tough I want White Fox to continue it, the problem is as for now WF is basically dead with staff who went to studio Bind / Atelier pondarc, some anime sequel being taken by other studio...
Still, hope their initiatives to recrut staff member last year (I think) turned out to be positive and weither it's WF who continue it, a new studio or a collab, I hope that the production quality will be similar to S1.

If there could be miracle happen then I wish kyoani to take rezero otherwise they should create a new studio for rezero which is completely for rezero.

Dude did we watched same show? Since season 1 had enough action in second half and season 2 was just build up for upcoming with a lot of character development and exploration so it's not like a series will always be focusing on one thing like how they didn't focus on action in s2 unlike s1 second half and season 3 gonna be so far the most action heavy one...
