| Chisato and takina are so good they can dodge bullets better than spider man and take down a ton of men with machine guns. Lycoris girls with handguns can take down armed soldiers with machine guns. That seems to be pretty bad writing. Basically like the women king where they distorted history to push a narrative. But probably a bunch of hikimori in Japan buying the discs similiar to the idol obsession since no male mcs. |

| Chisato is the only one that can dodge bullets and she can do so cos she has a super natural ability. Chisato and the Lycoris girls have been trained since little to become hitmen. If you been taught military training since child hood you can take out anyone with a hand gun no matter what gun the opposing force may have. |

It's not about bringing other shows, kek. You wouldn't go watch Mahou Shoujo and later say "oh damn, this doesn't make sense, why does the girls have to transform and use magical power??? THIS ISN'T HOW REAL LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE". I'd 50/50 agree with Chisato being superhuman (and I know this is the main reason people refuse to watch this/don't like this show), but if we really are this picky then every anime in existence is badly written, western movies/TV series too. And about your point, I'm not exactly sure I would call it a power but more like an ability. Yes, they do train for years, but for Chisato's case is more like an skill she just pulished (for example, Nyx from Lupin III Part IV has something similar, yet it isn't stated in the anime as a superpower but rather an innate skill). |

Lycoris pays homage to Hollywood blockbusters with a lot of its action. In many of those films, the action lead is routinely capable of impossible feats. In particular the show's gun choreography takes a lot of inspiration from the John Wick films, which feature the titular character doing quite a few impossible things. At the end of the third film he even survives a fall that would be fatal to anyone in real life, and probably also to most other characters in the film. It's a whole thing. If you don't like what Lycoris Recoil is doing, may I recommend sticking to only the most realistic drama and slice of life shows? I absolutely agree I would sign that petition in a heartbeat |
