| Guessing the studio is having troubles again as the episode got really short, like barely 10 minutes. Half the length is devoted to Tang San training and trying his best to get to godhood, the other half is Xue doing exactly the same thing with the sacrifice of her grandfather, the Head Flamen. To be frank, Xue's progression has always been "boring, YAWN" for me and today's episode is no exception. Hoping things will pick up next episode. I can't say I'm thrilled to see more content on Sea God Island, but there's the Star Forest, Rings for his Hammer, more Sea God Trials and apparently before all that he has to sort out the fighting and harsh feelings between the Hao Tian tribe, the Tang Tribe and the other Tribes that are supposed to be their allies. Supposedly. Can someone say "fragile alliance"? |

FILLER i don't even watch that angel crap anymore. i fast forrwarded through ALL OF IT. she killed her grandpa, right? they've been teasing that for like 5-10 episodes. did she finally do it? doo doo dong is insulted and reprimanded in front of the flamens. she's called back to the whatever headquarters to be chastised some more, but she doesn't realize the first flamen will be her daughter(?) instead of her father. this sounds like it could be interesting...but it's not. it's all so stupid and not fun to watch mc wants to go and get more soul rings before going to the sea god island thing to complete his god-training. he doesn't want anyone to go with him to get the rings, but he wants the shrek group to go with him to the island for the god-training hao tian and tang clan are fighting with each other? womp womp. this is how you turn an excellent show into a boring piece of trash My guess is he doesn't need the Shrek gang at Star Forest because all he's doing is getting rings for his Hammer. But he should at least take a few of them with him just in case the Martial Soul Hall or someone else is there doing something unexpected? Pretty sure all of them need to go to Sea God Island to get to level 100 so meeting them there is logical. However. Why go to Star Forest when the Sea creatures are WAY higher level with more interesting abilities?? Then the whole gang can help Tang San Hunt stuff for his rings, PLUS someone can watch over him while he's absorbing the rings, meaning the rings for the Hammer will be done faster if he just used Sea Creatures vs. Star Forest??? I have not read the novel so IDK if my guesses are right or not. |
