yeah they may make a 2 cour anime
with the second part coming later
but I'm still worried they'd adapt everything in 13 episode..

I don't read the manga, but i know the pacing. We will need a second season for the final.

the manga is only 8 volumes so it's likely going to be 1 season and adaptations of manga like this don't really adapt most of the content most of the time especially if it's finished, so unless the animation team wants to animate everything thoroughly it's probably going to be 1 season

They might be able to if they rush it a bit. A lot of the chapters in the manga are pretty short.

Episode 1 covered chapters 1 - 4, which is the first half of volume one though they did cut some pages here and there. So at this pace with thirteen episodes they will be half way through volume seven of an eight volume series.

So either they really slow the pace from here on out to make a second cour or they have to pick up the pace to finish within 13 episodes. 

I think the later is more likely.

I haven’t read the manga but I will now after that first episode. I added this on a whim and it was probably one of my favorites that aired yesterday. I hope they adapt the full manga 😪
