I think that Kisara is the most misunderstood character in this show. Tbh, I think people haven`t paid enough attention to details and plots about her and I will post some screenshots later on to clarify that. I get why many people are on Ayano`s side, as a Kisara fan, I totally respect that. But I really hate how some no-brainers just miss out on important info and pour all the dirty water on her. I am not that interested in who is the 'winner' in the love rivalry. but the adorable and courageous demon really deserves her happiness.

Firstly, I want to raise the most important point about the 'memory' thing. It seems like Kisara`s 'eating' Shu`s memories for power, but it turned out that the actual fuel for her power is Kisara`s
OWN MEMORIES. This is explained in the ep12 from Shu`s words 'were these memories yours' and the flashback of Kisara in her Childhood with her mother. And that`s why she is able to return Shu`s memories(including Shu banging with Ayano). If she is really that selfish and insane, there is totally no need to give back all these memories. She doesn`t take these on her own behave, it`s all about the contract. Demons have to be fueled up to get such strong power.

Secondly, she is the one who is sacrificing herself for Shu. Ayano seems cool, but Kisara`s always the one who really defeated the demons. Ayano`s guns are not really harming the demons throughout the whole show. The scene where she got pierced by Kanna`s spear hesitates to cut Kanna and gets blasted into the sea proves that she`s the one who really cares about Shu`s family and is even willing to sacrifice herself.

Thirdly, I get why people are angry cause she takes Shu's memory of banging with Ayano. But most of the time, she`s being very considerate. She even mentions to Shu that the memory he is about the give is his precious memory with Ayano in EP3. Although people blame her for showing hostility towards Ayano, but for most of the time she is totally aware of Shu`s love towards Ayano and she is
protecting Shu`s feelings by taking Shu`s memories very seriously. She also apologizes to Ayano and saved her several times from the demons.

I don't know, because I've never heard anyone saying that Kisara is pure evil.
Anime conveyed it quite well, that despite loving Shu, she is not too clingy and competitive despite hating Ayano's guts and frequently guilt trips when she is forced to consume Shuu's memories for power.
Love is about priorising someone's safety and happiness over your own, not wanting someine for yourself and that applies to Kisara.

I'll say that I'm #TeamKanna because she is an actual adorable imouto and was kinda done dirty. It's good to see her in the end being well, yet still strictly supervised. I hope, that in potential 2nd season she will get much more screentime.

Ifkr finally someone who actually understands what’s happening in the show. Your words can’t be more true

I hope we could get a cour2 and I really want to see every character growing up more.
I think the tension between Kisara and Ayano is a bit exaggerated , they still have the table to talk.
Btw, I am also interested how Kanna will show up if there is cour2

Ayano has her family, company, wealth, and some close high school friends apart from Shu. The only one who`s gonna be around Kisara is Shu. That`s very sad.
On the other hand, I wish she could get used to human society more, like making more friends on instagram.

As a demon, she`s good at using excel, Instagram, reading contracts, drawing and cooking, she is smart enough to earn a spot in the city. Although I miss the slight yandere Kisara chan, I really hope she could grow up more. At that stage, if she`s gonna become the winner of the love rivalry for Shu, their relationship will be proven legit without doubts, If not, she`s still able to make up her own life.

ps: Although I am more sticking to a harem/open ending, I really don`t want to see her lose.

Actually, the contract is a limit on Kisara`s power according to supplement 259. There is a close-up shot that only lasts for seconds focusing on that. I suppose Shu was not fully trusting Kisara when he came up with all the contract papers so he wanted to restrict her demon power. Although Kisara is indeed burning her own memories for fighting, Shu`s memories are still needed to lift the constraint on her power by kissing.

Btw, I will be grateful if someone can teach me how to upload local photos

Is there a bot or something that was programmed to drag down Kisara`s favs? Seeing her favs keep jumping between 276 and 279 while other characters` favs remain constant.

Some new findings. Actually Kisara’s asked to eat Ayano’ s memories about banging with Shu. This is evident from a line of conversation did not get translate in the Ed of ep.5 and in ep13  (the conversation between Shu and Ayano)

I would still say that Ayano is a fine girl.

But it is really painful for me to see those hate and misleading comments everywhere(runchyroll,yt.etc) . I am aware that I am bit childish but Kisara is really the character I have a genuine strong feeling for.

I really need to focus on the real world more and it’s time to move on
