| I forgot to mention this, but Episode 8 marks the end of Volume 1 of the manga! What a masterpiece adaptation so far. Now, we begin Volume 2! The topic of summer break, and Hitori attempts to call up the others thinking that they should hang out together as a band, but couldn't get her courage together to call the others, who are busy with their own things, So then, Hitori becomes a Black Hole. The other girls, thinking that Bocchi would be fine, anyone would instantly know that she's NOT always fine. Her younger sister Futari may be hemorrhaging on her loneliness, and everyone's too busy to invite her along. Oh well, just for the final day of summer break, they travel to Enoshima to give Hitori some fun out of her rut. Unfortunately, this is blasted by the most cringey of romances, and they have no choice but to drag the unconscious girl along. Ryo isn't the kind of Senpai that Kita was idolizing as her reality beats fantasy of a numbskull's worth of knowledge, and Bocchi, just drean out to drop out of school already. As good as the beach is, ANY kind of social interaction will send her bursting like a balloon, and this isn't the end, it's just the beginning. Kita's persistence to climb the stairs up the shrine to see the scenery, her extroverted radiances glows right through, forcing everyone to go along with her. Thankfully, there's tickets to the Enoshima "Escar" escalator, though they are broke and has to use Bocchi's funds again for convenience. Yelp, the couple romance strikes again, and though Kita is excited to reach the observation deck, the others are unimpressed. The unexpectedness of the crow stealing Hitori's ice cream, and then the imagery of all targeting her to the Dragon Ball Yamcha reference, as hilarious as this is, ouch man for real. The last thing: a shrine prayer for Kessoku Band's future success, though Bocchi prays to turn back time and re-experience summer break again. Regardless, Bocchi genuinely had fun with happiness, a smile and confidence, even if just for a day. Too bad Bocchi's muscles hurt too much, and yelp, it hurts. Hope you had fun, Hitori! |

| "Tropical Love Forever" The Summer vacations are here and Bocchi is just laying around. LOL. But, then all the band members decided to go out and Bocchi was just acting as herself. It was hilarious to see Bocchi pop like a balloon when asked by a foreigner. LUL. Kita aura was too bright as always. Bocchi getting Yamcha'd by the crows was the funniest thing in this episode. I absolutely love it. Loved the fact that all of them had a lot of fun on this little trip including Bocchi as well. |

| If there is one thing ... That i absolutely love about this show, is how they manage to portrait that all this social fear and such, is only in Bocchi's head. Like its not that the world is cruel to her, and thats why shes like that, no, it's that she's just like that because of her herself, while all the characters around her are the most cheerful supporting people, including the most adorable family members possible, lol. |

| Seeing Bocchi enjoying her summer made me felt so happy. She spent most her time at home but at least her friends really care about her. I didn't expect another ED tbh, I'm not sure if I like the new one or not. I love how they went from the cutest reference  to dropping the most unexpected Yamcha reference lol  |

| Not the best episode I've seen from this series, but still a solid one due to them trying to actively make some memories while Summer Break lasted, especially with Bocchi since they did accidentally cast her aside for a good chunk of that break and left her alone to just be alone basically. You can tell that they do care for her and while she spent a good chunk of the episode just paralyzed basically, by the end, she did make a decent chunk of progress as a character and is slightly more grateful and expressive about how much she values time together with them, not just as bandmates in music but even just friends spending time together outside doing random stuff. Probably the thing that brings it down for me is the humor itself at times. It clicked a couple times, but there were gags and moments where I was just blanking the whole time and felt like it wasn't that fun to me at least, even with the guys at the beach and the crows, those were meh to me. Still though, watching this show despite some repetitiveness with the gags at times, does feel more refreshing than many shows this season. And this episode while not perfect and not the best, was still a pretty good showcase overall. Episodes like these with them spending time together and bonding outside feel more meaningful than most episodes I saw of K-On like this too. Cultural Festival time seems to be coming soon, did kind of get a hint of that potentially being the case from that one frame of Slow Loop I think that had them playing in a cultural festival with those black shirts. |
| BEST. TRIP. EVER. Summer break's ending is fast approaching, and what has Bocchi done besides playing the guitar at home? Nothing! She tried to call up her bandmates, but just couldn't bring herself to (I feel that...), and wastes her time away, until the last day of summer break, when Kessoku Band and a dying Bocchi made an excursion to Enoshima, and the social interaction is quite overwhelming for her, so much that she just exploded. The Kita aura was strong, and everyone was dragged along with her for the ride, but it was nice and a great memory for the band to bond a bit more. The crows attacking Bocchi was absolutely hilarious as well. It's time for school now, but Bocchi wasn't used to massive physical activity, so much that her muscles are dead... at least she had fun, right? |
| The sudden science lesson sure was funny. Looks like in the end all for girls ended up waiting on each other without realizing it. Science posters are not something that I'll expect at culture festivals thats for sure. But thats a prep school for you. That Takosen really looked nice. But the view from the observation deck really was worth the climb. But man poor Hitori being targeted by the kites. Overall a fun ep that represented a significant step for not just the band but for Hitori as well in her desire to overcome her flaws in the form of the brief but almost fun filled outing to Enoshima. Looks like the girls might be performing for the Shuka festival next judging from the focus on the poster in the end. |

| When even birds know whom to pick on.. such is the charisma of Bocchi. Trip didn't go as planned, but for the records atleast Bocchi scored ticked off that "hanging out on a trip with the friends" checkbox. Next up cultural festival, and Bocchi will be a part of it, I know. |

| What a funny episode with bocchi reactions and how she exploded when a foreigner speak with her. They make nice memories together as a band and bocchi herself had fun too. Kita san is joing a school festival looks intersting. |

Oh that's interesting then. I haven't read ahead in the manga so I assumed they would be similar. My bad. |
| Wasn't anywhere near the best episode, as it's hard to follow up from that phenomenal episode 8, but it's perhaps the funniest one by far in this series and a solid one for the most part. Despite their growing potential as performers, Kessoku Band haven't really progressed much as friends, which is further complicated by them going to different schools (Kita and Bocchi in one, Ryou and Kita in another particularly due to former living close by). Some way somehow, they needed to make some sort of meaningful memories for their summer break (as well as perhaps later down the stretch when they grow up as adults one day). Despite being technically free and available all day every day, Bocchi herself had been left hanging due to the others not really taking the initiative to arrange a get-together prior, due to being preoccupied with their own daily routines and activities, since being free and actually arranging time due to being available aren't the same. They do care for Bocchi, though, and do express guilt in not acting any sooner. While Bocchi herself wasn't actually up for the summer trip and was even mentally and physically paralyzed to start off the little venture, she IS genuinely trying her best given that this is probably her first trip outside in quite a long time. She's also expressed some gratefulness in getting to have these sort of moments, even if it's just them doing random things, cause they feel precious to her in terms of her life experience (although it sucks that she gets body aches the very next day due to not being used to being outdoorsy). I also really like that Kita is the one kinda taking the lead here due to Ryou and Nijika also not being quite outdoorsy themselves. While I did say this episode is perhaps the funniest one, the humor itself isn't always so consistent; however, the visual creativity that is one of this series' main strengths again makes up for that whenever it can. I sure got one hell of a hardy laugh out of the Yamcha reference from Dragon Ball Z when Bocchi got gang-attacked by a bunch of kites. Again, not an utterly amazing episode by any means, but still really good and really productive in terms of character work. Makes me really wished that K-On had episodes like this, as much as I really love that series myself. The next episode probably gonna set up for a cultural festival performance, which should be something to really look forward to. |

| It was a fun episode, can't wait for the cultural festival arc! Also this is the same movie that Gojou and Marin watched in ep 12 of My Dress Up Darling XD  I still don't get when people say they don't like a show but keep watching it. Like bruh, you're giving 1 or 2 score already and expect it to drastically change your mind? Obviously you're biased towards hating it already. If I dislike a show, I would just drop it instead of wasting my time. |

I totally lost it when I saw for the first time. This episode was amazing. I could relate when she was happy in the train and Kita was like "let's do this everyday next holydays" and Bocchi instantly thought something like "I'd rather stay home some days" haha |
