| This episode just goes to show that environmental factors can be a obstacle in a war, especially rivers. Feels like this episode is building to a bigger climax for the story though. Pretty interesting how they captured the realism side of a war by bringing out all elements that can happen. |

| It was very impressive of Xin and his force being able to overcome their disadvantageous terrain and land their army on the river, but that is just the beginning. Now comes the really hard part. On another note, Lu Buwei is really digging his own grave with each betrayal he makes. I doubt he will still be in his position should his rebellion fail, and if he is, I am sure he will live to regret it. |

| Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! It's always sooo cool to see the little fearful war newbies from the earlier seasons/battles suddenly look like strong monsters. Like the dude with the scar, the one with the eyepatch and the big guys. Song Zuo also looks "newish" or his character seems to have that main side character polish all of a sudden Also the Zui guys showing up was kinda cool. |
| Animation was really subpar in this episode but the content more than made up for it, the river segment was spectacular and ingenious, but can they make it back to the capital on time? |

| to be honest, i'm little frustrated with this episode pace, i felt that they dragged most of the episode only to get that cliffhanger. in this kind of situation, i felt that any talking they made just were out of place in this situation. with that aside, this was another masterpiece episode. seriously hilarious how every soldier on the boats needed to use shields, while shin just stood there and didn't got any wound lol and lu-buwey seriously digging his own grave. i really won't be surprised if he's gonna try murdering zheng himself. |
