| Does anyone realize at the start of the episode, the color of Hinamizawa's landscape was a little bit eerie and unnaturally dead? By then, I had already felt something bad would definitely happen. And Satoko's bizarre demeanor proved what happened next. Rika woke up to her 5th attempt, only to find out that the tragedy had already happened, done by Satoko. The bloody scene was displayed clearly, no mosaics, no black shadows, no censoring lights. Organ by organ, small and large intestines, blood, squelching sound. The air turn redder and redder as Satoko performed Watanagashi on Rika. Satoko said about receiving Oyashiro-sama's oracle. I'm not sure if it's really an oracle or if it's just Satoko's delusion, but she seemed to understand Rika's suffering, how Rika had been making mistakes all along. Just as her life force faded, Rika repented all her sins and decided not to abandon Hinamizawa anymore. When no more tragedy happened prior to the festival, Rika was sure she would make it, but then she met Tomitake and Takano decided to tell her something. |

| Yeah ... how dare Rika want to leave after sitting through all the pain she had to endure for 100+ years. The "Oyashiro-same" Satako is talking about sure is cruel to force her to stay just so she could learn how good of a place Hinamizawa really is and was for her. |

| So the reason Rika is back in that loop is because she left Hinamizawa? Pretty lame excuse to continue this cycle tbh, still not a fan of that storywriting. |
| At least it made sense after all. Season 2 is still superior to S3 for me personally tho. Pretty disappointed over S3 which was the worst so far. |

| I mean, it is natural for Rika to want to leave Hinamizawa after living there for hundreds of years and this curse wants to rob her desire. Being Rika is suffering. And now it is funny that we are having a Rika-Takano face off. |
