| I recently read through the manga School Zone Girls (sometimes translated as School Zone), by mangaka Ningiyau. I'm loving it so far; the main characters, and even the supporting cast, feel very real, and the tension that underpins a lot of the relationships is really well-constructed. School Zone Girls explores that hazy area where friendship might develop into something more, and, especially given that all the cast are women, seems to teeter on that edge where characters might be thinking to themselves, "Is this kind of love really possible for me?" I am excited for the next volume, and I would love to hear if anyone in this club has thoughts on SZG as well! :3 |
