Wow, it's about damn time they had some peace.

I think this episode is more about building on the future than focusing on the present and past. Either way, everyone contributed to their state of peace and end of a struggling war, at least in this timeline now.

Now that the civil war is over, is open season to Oshtor interest.

Next big quest was given.

I don't blame Nekone for deciding to stay behind, I would be tired too.

Letting Kuon behind was a dumb decision, he is going to Tuskur, a princess would help a lot. Thankfully Kuon is smart.

I can't see Kuon nor Nekone cry : ( I can't lie, I was crying when Kuon told Nekone she knows the truth, and while a bit harsh Uruuru and Saraana were trying to comfort Kuon about Haku's current identity, now she is finally able to spend some quality time with him.

Nekone did nothing wrong.

Poor Nekone. She is always crying and with good reason. She is carrying a heavy burden and she will probably need forget that.
Great emotional episode and moments between Oshtoru and Kuon.

Mikado gives the next quest to Oshtoru and then we have an intruder in the post-credit scene.

Looking forward to more KuonxOshtoru moments

Tbh I still can't get my head around why Haku has been pretending to be Oshtor all this time. It's just such a dick move however you look at it, it's just wrong, on multiple levels, and I'm sick of seeing all the girls cry because of him and his dick move

It's because the world still needs to believe Oshtoru is alive. If they knew Oshtoru was fake, it would lead to panic.

Yeah I know how he himself justifies it but I still don't approve of it. For example, he could have led his forces forward and take the capital in the name of avenging Oshtor's death. That would've been way better in every aspect, not to mention way more logical thing to do

No, it wouldn't. Nobody would even follow him. He's a literal nobody that would be going up against the Imperial Court. There would be no forces for him to take because he has no political power, no military power, no way to prove himself and the soldiers, along with the princess, would have no morale with the loss of Oshtor. Haku would not be able to even start any of this without Oshtor's identity.

A few flashbacks helped me remember what happened on previous seasons, but I don't think it's enough. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I would appreciate one or two recap episodes of the series so far.

On the topic of the current episode, it's heartwarming to see Kuon finally learning that Oshtor is indeed Haku and how she comforted Nekone.
