CGI Reasoning?

Enjoyed this more then expected after dropping it the season it came out! Does anyone know the reason for the production choice of making my bad buff guy all CGI in main fight Va female lead? Doesn’t seem like they put in a lot of effort:budget for action sequences in general.

I just watched another anime (fantasy moonlight I think) that wasn’t so subtle with the CGI.

This is a vague idea I have but I imagine that certain body movements or movements in general, are hard to like straight up animate. Again vague but yeah I think CGI isn’t perfect but still allows for some sequences/concepts to exist.

Or budget.

Or lack of experience

Or idk dude maybe cgi is something people resort to...since it’s so unnatural looking

it really sucks how little effort they put into the show cause I really like the story but the cgi and overall animation was terrible

I think it might be budget issues. I had seen it a while back, so I dont really remember the details. But I just rechecked that fight and I could see cgi usage only for him(?)

probably lack of time. most anime have so little time to be made and if you add a fresh team of pretty inexperienced people to that it doesn't end well because they just don't get enough time to try and explore the art of animation and direction.

for example, both directors have never directed an anime before, add that to lack of time and you get shit animation. time + talent/experience = good animation. budget actually has nothing to do with it unless they got under the minimum but that happens so little that it can't be the case here. despite popular belief, budget has nothing to do with the quality of the show. if you want me to go more into it because you are curious to learn, you can ask me and i will explain a bit more.

I forced myself to watch this show. I was on episode 6 so I didn't want to end in the middle so I just forced my last waste of time to eventually get nothing in return. The manga was 10x more entertaining but I dropped it aswell. 5 is the highest I can give.
