| It was just a few days ago that I got to watch, and finish the 1st season after learning about the 2nd season. I've been hearing about it a lot before but I kept avoiding it in fear that it was gonna be one of those that don't really use a concept properly. But man, did I like it so much! Now, I've seen the trailer and some discussions about the 2nd season and, I noticed some are worried about how it will fare. Some were bothered with the new Art Style (I can understand that), some are worried about how much of the material will they cover, and as for me, I'm worried that the VAs, which imo contributed a lot to the quality of the first season, might not fully capture the spirit of the characters anymore as it has been... 7 years?... since the 1st season. Just curious really. There's gonna be a lot of factors for it being succesful or failing but, I really hope that at the least the spirit of the 1st season still remains for the 2nd one. ^_^ |

| AHH. i totally missed this thread xD my bad. regardless i did watch season 1, and i rated it as a 6. xD normally i would watch season 2 as well just for the sake of having a finished anime. but i dont really feel like it. idk why. probably cuz i watched season 1 with my friend and i was kinda bored through. i do however ship maou and yusa. :P now. a few weeks have passed so you probably have seen at least 3 epis or how many are there. :P you can try convince me its good and maybe ill watch?? IS THERE AND ROMANCE PROGRESS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAr? XD oh and Sasaki, Chiho is annoying. |

They seem to have embraced the idea that the characters are effectively a group of friends at this point, contrary to the 1st season where their relationships were quite complicated, and were only necessary for their goals, which is mostly the interesting part of the story. That plus Maou's and Yusa's dynamic. So I'd say if the 1st season didn't quite pique your interest, this 2nd season might not be worth checking out as it feels like this is gonna be less interesting than the 1st one, story-wise at least. But if you're interested in the Maou x Yusa shipping (Like me xD), I'd suggest checking out the released episodes so far ^_^ Also, don't feel bad about missing the thread. | I just watched episodes 3 and 4 and, yeah... Chiho really do be annoying now @_@ I liked her during the early part of S1 when she was still simply a childish and carefree character with comical merits. But now she's a full-on generic nice princess. Sadge. But the show is overall fun. It really is mostly romance now. But it's doing a better job than S1 when it comes to making "Ente Isla" an interesting part of the story. Also... Alas Ramus is kawaii-desu too much! >.< |

| I haven't seen the end yet but, they did release a cover for the next season. Story-wise, this season has really been... lacking compared to the first one. |
