| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I've now read chapter 2 in the April Kirara Forward, and so far this isn't meeting my expectations at all. It's essentially indistinguishable from most of the other "cute girl" stories in the issue. There's no edginess at all. (And it's not like Kirara Forward doesn't publish edgy stories - after all, Yumekui Merry is in it.) If the anime were like this I wouldn't have lasted more that two episodes. As is, since I am buying Kirara Forward for Yumekui Merry I'll continue to read MSKM, just in case it improves, but at this point I am less than impressed. |
| It is cliche, indeed. I am disappointed so far and I was hoping for something equal to Madoka. Chapter 2 felt so similar to Pretty Cure. Nothing interesting. It is trying to add some loli fanservice to attract certain people. At least there are terms from Madoka. (I liked the Madoka reference too.) |

| The only redeeming thing about this is the Madoka reference... I every chapter is going to be like this I'll be so disappointed. I had hopes for this :/ |
| Well now it's starting to show some connections to Madoka...by referencing how the system works and putting silhouettes of Madoka and Kyubey. But that's about it, the way witches work in this are weird. Also, the designs for the other 2 girl's Puella Magi outfits are so bland and boring. |
| Fanservice-wise, please spare me from the gong of headaches but as for the lighter story, I quite love it with spades. Chill up guys, I know things like this can go with an abrupt change later on. |
| somehow i felt like i was reading a manga style schooby doo. the old madoka was far more interesting that this. |
| We're still in introductions. If this were an anime, it would probably still be episode 1. |
