| I liked the dragon and got a good chuckle when he “turned to bones”. The characters are getting more established and its reinforcing the power of imagination and celebration of new things theme. Overall still feeling mid on this. |

| I appreciate that this a full fantasy series set in a fantasy world but they're throwing way too much stuff at us way too fast. And yeah, the pacing is still not great. |

| This story has the pieces to be something special, but it seems like the author doesn't know how to get there. |
| I love the reversal of them having already defeated the dragon before learning it's history & effect, adds some flavour to what would otherwise be a very standard Shonen story. Fun & quick, liked this more than the first chapter. |
