I tried to watch this series many years back but got bored due to 50 min runtime per episode and not that much action.
Should i read it or try to watch it again if its any good

i loved the show, yeah its pretty slow and it takes its time getting to the action, but once it does you wont regret it
it does skip one fight which was annoying but i dont have anything else thats negative about it
and when it skips the fight it doesn't hurt the story, you just see him with said sword in the next ep

if your attention span couldn't handle the animation then reading is likely hopeless

Them skipping that fight was such a troll. Especially afterwards when they sit there afterwards and talk about how awesome the fight was 😢. Still loved the series, curious if the fight was in the manga or if it was an intentional troll through and through

If you don't like it then just let it go. Nothing gets changed when you switch from the anime to the manga, still it'll be the same material with the same story.

both. I watched it first and found out there's a novel so I highly recommend reading it as you'll meet characters that aren't in the series.

I really liked the anime, I recommend u to stay with it but if not, u can try it's LN, as it's from nisio isin, it would be amazing. Even I am thinking of reading it's LN.
