This series already counts as nostalgic in my book.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

The studio did a pretty decent job with the OVA so far, hopefully they can keep the magic of the original.

I'm happy to have this 2nd season be confirmed for next year. Been way too long, like 5 and a half years by the time this airs since the first season. I loved the first season so I can't wait to see how this 2nd season turns out to be, and I hope the production remains similar in quality to the first one since the music and visuals were breathtaking and magical overall.

I haven't seen the new OVA yet since I'm waiting for it all to be done, hopefully that one turns out well so that I can feel safer with how the new season would be adapted.

Thankfully no Wit this time so Wada can't screw anything up along with having the same staff at Kafka. I'm absolutely excited for what will probably be anime of the year for next year.

Wit have notoriously bad production schedules worse than even a studio like Mappa a lot of times. It's why they've started dropping everything.

i mean Wada want WIT to do mainstream anime and I.G to do niche anime so i think reason bad production schedules are false. Also IG port good for healthy treatment like KyoAni and ufotable man

They are dropping so many projects due to money problem not overwork lol.

For example Wit wasn't the part of production committee for AOT so even after the global success they didn't get much credit. That's way the deside to drop AOT and instead started working on more original anime. Originals are usually more profitable for a studio.

One the other hand Ousama Ranking and Spy x Family did really well for them in both the project Wit Studio was directly involved in the production committee so that means money will continue to come.

Where Wit production schedule is worse than Mappa! Mappa started to improve now after so many complaints... Wit, on the other hand, are other reasons why she dropped works like SnK, Mahoutsukai, Vinland!

@ZXEAN so we're just going to pretend George Wada, the head of Wit Studio and now one of the executives of IG, has not BRAGGED in interviews about how he INTENTIONALLY overworked his staff? About how they survived on energy bars, how he couldn't overwork them as much as he wanted because they'd die otherwise, talking about how they would pass out at their desks, how lived a hair away from depression due to overwork and walked around like zombies or how animators came forward as early as AoT's FIRST season, the one with the best production, talking about the overwork and mentioning how their favourite part of the production was it being over so they could actually rest? Yes, Wit are known for overwork and were known far before Mappa were if you even did a second of research. The main reason they dropped a lot of their projects, AoT especially, is because the animators could not possibly work on them anymore and some were even starting to refuse to work due to how bad it got. They are in debt yes but far before that were they known for poor production schedules.

Overwork isn't the main reason for dropping so many projects you can do your research and Wada is currently the precident of Production IG.

Wit doesn't need IG's help. Currently Wit is performing miles better then Production IG. They already recovered from there debt. You can check out Wit current situation.

By any measure, words simply fail.

I've been looking for an excuse to bump Mahoutsukai no Yome's rating as a whole up to a 10 and make it the first series to knock something out of a slot and take a place in my Top 10 since all the way back in 2019. This could be just the perfect occasion, presuming it's anywhere even close to equal quality as the first. And not just quality visually or with its admittedly amazing OST (one of the dearest to me in all anime), but in the writing again in how it taps into that true reservoir and depth of feeling and ties all those individually beautiful or impressive parts into something transcendent and ethereal when together.

I’m only halfway through the first season, and I’m already looking forward to the second season!

This really is a great series, and I’m glad that it is getting a second season. Especially with how a lot of anime is nowadays, and I’m sure that you all know what I mean by that. Nice to see that something like this can stand apart from what unfortunately a lot of anime is like nowadays.
