| Looks like their journey took them to New York, one of the more elite high end cities in the world. I'm still quite impressed how far they've come since the first episode though. Very impressive. |

| So they skipped the West Coast? Anyway they went all out with this show but i doubt the Liberions are better said the Americans won't mind, they like showy stuff after all. And another witch could visit her family. There was something missing in this episode and i think it could get political if i go into it so i will leave it at that. But it was an ok episode. |

| Those donuts were fantastic and very creative. The new song gave me some vibe of a theatrical performance. The Gallia liberation was referred from the final episode of the first season of Strike Witches. I hope we will be able to meet more of the 501st members when they go back to Europe. |

| Sound like a normal thing in NY, someone at Central Park talking to animals. Small bits were kinda dark, like Jo is just 12 years old and going to a war overseas, low-income families kids not having a school-proper. The new song was great. With Luminous Witches going to Gallia, I just had the most fantastic thought that will get me disappointed if don't happen. Luminous meet 501st and we see everyone's familiars. |

| Jo's family are so fun and tight knit, it was nice to watch their short interaction together Their outfits look so pretty aaa The girls making the skies of New York City their stage seems as fun as they made it look~ Ellie's home has been rescued, can't wait to see her development as we go to Gallia |
| Lmao jo family got some strong ass genes wtf. Literally all look alike. Wouldn’t be an idol tour without a NYC trip. The girls looked like they had a blast exploring the city. Loved the performance and the girls new outfits, everything turned out great. Funny how the commander is a Mana stan lol. And gallia is free now! You could see Ellie about to start crying, happy for her! Damn Mana is STRAPPED |

| That was really cute to see them in New York doing that concert all over the city in the sky, and I really like Jo she's one of my fav characters from the group, her (big) family is cute as well. And nice my country is free now yessssssssssssss I can't wait to see them here |

| Liberion = USA? a long limo for the magic band, a large billboard, and there's even high ranking officer who is a fan. Tickets for the event sold out. Wow, they're so famous now. although a little sad that some poor people cannot come to the show in the island. The tickets are priced a bit high? I guess the rich people get front row. and now I understand why Jo wants money. Her family is so big. Their father selling donuts won't earn enough for that many people. looking forward to the next episode. :) |
| Not for the first time, an episode like this has made me like Jo even more than before! =3 Considering how massive her family is, you can't blame her for leaving her family at such a young age in order to help them financially, as her hard-working father carting around the doughnut stand wasn't enough to help the family's funds. Still, it was really cute to see how she easily slipped back into her old accent with her family and fellow witches. =) The performance was pretty great. The outfits were beautiful, the song itself was very catchy and how the witches made doughnuts in the sky so that her family, who was watching on the bridge, could see, looked spectacular. After the performance, news already came in that the 501st Strike Witches had defeated the Neuroi over Gallia, Elle's homeland. I'm expecting the next episode to be pretty emotional for her. |
| Spectacular performance, even if they went a bit over the top with it, giving the entire city something to watch and enjoy. The news is great and all, but I really feel like I'm missing context about the war since I barely feel anything about the news. |

| Well, with how much entertainment this place already have.. Maybe other places need support of Luminous Witches more.. I'm glad that we got about Sylvie and Jo more with time.. At first they were the least opened witches, it felt to me.. Now it's better, they're even close to my favorites.. Maybe I'll think on final favorites later or something, as still quite some episodes left.. Oh, and great news.. 501st wing destroyed Neurois' nest.. |
| For New York, they sure do speak a lot of Japanese. LOL Guess this anime doesn't even want to try speaking English. Since most Japanese VAs can't speak English that well due to language syllables differences. Where English words comes out all funny sounding when spoken by non-fluent Japanese speaker. (I am also pretty sure the song they sang story wise is suppose to be in English, lol) (but of course, the actual music is pure Japanese based) ___ ___ ___ Also, apparently at ep 9 of this series is chronologically in-line with last episode of Strike Witches 501st. Interesting. (I had at first thought this series is after the events where Neuroi is mostly gone... guess it was actually right in the middle of the fights) |
