A Certain Magical Index (light novel)
| I really enjoyed this series when I was younger. Last several years I missed a lot of ongoings and am catching up. I am trying to finish watching this, shoving a couple episodes a month down my throat so that I know how it all ends. I'm currently at episode 18 and I just couln't make myself finish it, this mess of a storytelling is just unbearable. Should I just drop it here and go for Railgun T instead, or is the ending worth sitting through another 3 hours of complete mess? |
| well its really up to you, if you really thought this season was a mess, you'll probably won't like the rest. i personally thought it was a massive improvement over railgun (which i see essentially as a bland slice of life stretched over too much episodes). I suggest you finish it quickly as 3 episodes a month is literally snail pace, i mean ur already at ep 18. But you'll probably not like it if you made up your mind that the series is shit. If you're sure that that the series is garbage and you mind is made, dont watch the rest |

| The manga adaptation is currently adapting the volumes poorly adapted in this season with a chapter every months. You can try that for making yourself a better opinion of the bad episodes you've seen at the beginning of this season (it's currently at the end of the Battle Royale Arc) but the pace of release is so slow that it will take several years to adapt everything until the last arc. The LN is the only way to enjoy fully the story, you can try to finish Index III but it's not getting better :( Maybe read the wiki is even better than watching it. lol |
| If there's nothing in this season that appeals to you at all, you should drop it. I mean at the start I wasn't to enthusiastic. Plus Touma's portion of the story is boring me and I almost want to fastforwarded through it. Just so I can get to Accelerator's part. But after 16 episodes I decided I'm liking this season. |
