| Besides the obvious fact, that she is possessive, annoying and in fact self-centered, her entire backstory doesn't make sense and is completely idiotical. Kazuya somehow made her heart go "doki doki" for no reason like a typical harem MC he is, and that's literally it. This is such a lazy justification to why anyone would fall in love with someone as repulsive as Kazuya, that it is almost comedic. She seems to be a softer version of yandere. That's why she just want to have Kazuya for herself, which should not be mistaken for love. |

| I don’t like her because she can’t take a hint that Kazuya isn’t interest in her. She’s selfish, manipulative, forceful, clingy, and an overall eyesore. She literally blackmails Kazuya into “dating” her by keeping his rental girlfriend relationship with Chizuru hostage (especially when she shows up uninvited when he was with Chizuru and his grandmother). She even makes a scene in public when things didn’t go her way to make Kazuya look like the bad guy. I honestly can’t see how anyone can like her. |

He does not have any romantic interest in her and yet she still makes moves on him even though he clearly has eyes for Chizuru. It being a “trial relationship” doesn’t justify blackmail |

At least Chizuru attraction can be attributed to exposure/Stockholm syndrome/proper simping. |

It's pretty wild, that she even tolerates him, while any rational being would file for restraining order at this point. |

On the other hand Kazuya also almost confessed to Ruka that he wants to make it official. And Ruka is black mailing? We all know what Kazuya and Chizuru doing is wrong. Ruka telling Kazuya's family that she is his gf isn't something unexpected from a gf. Remember Jelousy is part of being gf Kazuya - I agree to an extent because he’s unable to shake her off and isn’t the type of person to reject female attention Chizuru - I agree, but she doesn’t exactly realize it herself (and also because the mangaka is writing the story to make it that way cause realistically she wouldn’t) Ruka - Ruka thinking it’s a battle agree (cause she’s the only one thinking it’s a battle). Still though, seeing that Kazuya is interested in Chizuru should be indicator to back off (which of of course she does not). Ruka technically being his gf, sure only because she one sidedly pushes this onto Kazuya. He takes it without fighting back and doesn’t set her straight continuously feeding into her delusions that they could be a item. Her thinking they’re in a relationship and being angry about Kazuya wanting to date another girl still goes to show how delusional she is. (especially since it’s not her place to feel that way when they’re not actually dating) Kazuya almost confessing (on whim) doesn’t change the fact he only likes Chizuru. And an almost confession is not a real confession. That’s like saying you’re almost done doing something, cause you’re not actually done doing it. Ruka is blackmailing, saying what Kazuya and Chizuru are doing doesn’t change anything. Ruka blackmails Kazuya in hopes of getting into a relationship with him. Kazuya and Chizuru’s grandmothers’ think they’re dating, so knowing that they continue to have a fake relationship. Is right? Of course not. Comparing what Kazuya and Chizuru are doing to Ruka is silly because they are lying to keep their grandmothers happy (and trying to get out of it) while Ruka is acting upon her own selfish gains. This isn’t a competition of who’s more wrong, but the reason behind their actions. It’s not really fair to compare the two especially when Kazuya and Chizuru themselves want to tell their grandmothers they “broke up” Putting it in their point of view is pointless since RAG isn’t a complex or a thought inducing show since their characteristics are blatantly shown. Thinking from her point of view wouldn’t change the single fact Ruka is toxic. |

| To be frank, I think nearly every character in this anime is pretty annoying. Kazuya needs to make it more clear on who he loves and put his foot down instead of being scum. He should also stop lying to his and Ichinose's grandmother. Ichinose needs to stop enabling Kazuya to be with Ruka and also needs to admit her feelings for him. She should also stop lying to her grandmother, as well as Kazuya's grandmother. Ruka needs to realize she is just a third wheel and a nuisance and is making things more complicated. Kazuya doesn't like you, he is just a horn dog, and that should be obvious by now. Give up. Mami... to be frank, I don't know what is wrong with her, she just seems crazy. Sumi... just stop, if we have any more love interests the ship is just going to sink faster. Run as far away as you can and don't look back. XD |
