Wow, their pharmarcy got super popular in such a short amount of time. Falma really managed to capture an audience.

Despite how he looks, Falma has a big heart and courage when he swam into that vast ocean to save a girl. Their world truly is lucky to have him.

Falma needs to be a bit more careful, Wanted to help others is a good thing but he knew he was being targeted yet he fell for such an obvious trap.
It should have been clear to him ones he was lured out of the city but he even went of the track.

Lets hope nothing bad happens to him.

The way he saved his sister was nice but getting so far into sea wasn't a good thing.
Not that they where trying to get that was into water but it happened anyway, always pay attention when going near water with children.

Great episode! Beach time! But it doesn't turn out to be fun... Farma thinks back to his previous life where he couldn't uphold the promise with his little sister for her to swim in the water next year. And just after that, Blanche is struggling in the water! He manages to rescue her by removing a full section of the water! Elen and Lotte are both scared and shocked by this...
After all, he eliminated the seawater as well as everything inside of it which is definitely not a power normal in this world xD.
Lotte felt better after Farma talked to her and made her not feel guilty for what happened.
But it seems that news of Farma's actions has spread and people want him eliminated!
Meanwhile, Parallel World Pharmacy is as busy as ever even after the break but Farma spots some suspicious hooded people in store who leave when he tries to talk to them...
Someone charged a carriage into the pharmacy on purpose!
The store isn't in a good state...
But the regular customer Jean brings some men who also love the sailor candy to help repair the store.
Farma is called for an emergency as a woman says her father has collapsed so sets off to see what the issue is.

But when he reaches the spot, HE WAS TRICKED! Them hooded figures surround him and they are inquisitors from the holy kingdom...

Looking forward to the next episode!

I presume that Falma will use his great powers to get rid of those priests (the antagonists)

This episode reflects the reality of the past where the church rule over the country, and I'm predicting these priests atrocities and abuse of superior strength will show up in the incoming episodes.

I'm wondering if... Nederland = Netherland, Inida = India? I figure it out, it's Netherlands East-Indies, a real life Dutch colony from Dutch East India Company.
Anyway, it's strange how many people, almost all people, especial those who come to his store don't notice that Farma has no shadow so far.

The pharmacy is making business, but be careful of expanding too big that'll catch the competition hard.

The land of Marseirre to negotiate trade for the adults, while the children hang out at the beach. And normally beach episodes typically land well to fanservice, but this one takes it seriously because of Farma's past life where he saw his sister Chiyo's desperation to play on the waters with him (that he couldn't due to her illness), and then Blanche being swept away by the current tides. No repeating the same incident again, and Farma using Panactheos's power to erase part of the sea...most certainly this is more than just a mere Divine Art power that's of a negative attribute. Charlotte certainly was frightened, but in the end, she's made aware.

But no other entity has more influence than the Church trying to scout out Farma and kill the heretic, which Elen and Charlotte certainly has noticed, but a horse carriage filled with sediment suddenly barging into the pharmacy certainly made it clear that someone is out for Farma's life which Father Bruno stresses the point to be vigilant. And most certainly, Farma's pharmacy gained so much word that the common folk coming together to help him is faith in humanity restored like a closely-knit community.

An emergency call which beckons for Farma's attention, and while the townsfolk were kind enough to help him out, his sole journey outside would be a trickery and met by opposition, the inquisitors of the Holy Kingdom.

Come one, come all. The "Church is bad" plotline starts here.

Was that really a surprise to you? Just from the opening you can tell there was going to be conflict. With how powerful he is, I’m sure more of his powers will manifest and he’ll overcome this pretty easily.

It’s funny how I just happened to check this show out with knowing next to nothing about it other than it being an isekai involving medicine. Now it’s one of the shows that I really look forward to each week.

That's one OP horse given the amount of dirt and the speed it must have been going at to crash into the store.

Kinda hope the church adds something to the story since after the mc got everything he wanted by episode 4 the show turned pretty boring, there was not even good sol or economy/product development.

Quite a lot happened this episode. I can't help but almost cry when Falma mentions his sister from his past life knowing that whenever he's with his new sister Blanche, he will always be reminded of her past sister who he can never be with again, and in a beach episode too that's tuff.

But the hole he made under the sea upset some inquisitors and now he's on the bind against them, and ngl that bait that got him to these men from the Holy State is actually nice. While the pharmacy is in good hands, Falma is at the cusp of being handed, instincts is the thing that might save him from this ensuing encounter.

The first half with the beach gave me a bit of whiplash lol, first we’re having a fun time at the beach, had a little funny moment with Blanche and Charlotte, got a sexy Elen moment once again, but then Blanche is immediately drowning and Farma has to become Moses to save her lol, this show man, but I mean really that’s how life is, on a dime stuff can turn sour. I also really liked the Charlotte moment at the end of the first half.

And the 2nd half was interesting, now there’s a religious group that’s after Farma because word got out about his Moses moment, and they were most likely the ones that flung a carriage of shit into his pharmacy. Thankfully the people of the city have already grown to like Farma and helped him out with the cleanup, that was pretty wholesome. But then a girl lures Farma away from the pharmacy to help her dad, but the moment they went off the path and up a hill I knew something was wrong, and now Farma is surrounded by the religious group that’s after him, go figure lol. Next week will be intense for sure.

The church would. Particularly as it’s loosely based on the Catholic/Christian church. That’s a common happening irl. They regularly go against science and kill people.

Blanche and Lotte are too cute! That was actually a really good sand castle. Elen looked great too! His little sister from his past life was really cute. So precious, man. What a tragedy. No wonder he doesn’t like the ocean much. I was worried about Blanche and the rip current, she was in real trouble for a minute and then Farma’s powers activated. I thought my guy parted the waves like Moses, but he really just erased a portion of the ocean. If that’s not a Divine Art, I wonder what it is. I’m glad Farma had some sense of closure/redemption with that Blanche sitch. He couldn’t save his other sister but he could save this one.

I knew Farma would run afoul of the church. Just a matter of time before the religious fanatics come after him, though I was thinking it would have been for his medicine. They even seemed to have followed him to the store, and now they’ve made their move with their carriage. At least the labs were safe. It’s also nice that the people are pitching in to help, it’s showing how much of an effect Farma is making on society.

I knew the lady in distress was a set up. Bringing him way out to a remote area? In the words of Admiral Ackbar: “It’s a trap!” Though with his powers, I’m sure those Holy Kingdom inquisitors are the ones that are toast.

No good deed goes unpunished. Farma saves his sister which is the right thing to do, but ends up blowing his cover. It wouldn’t be an Isekai without a battle with a rip off Catholic Church lol

Sucks they used Farma’s kindness against him by luring him out to the middle of nowhere. Wonder how he’ll get out of this next week

So this really is a parallel world or he just got transported to a time when Europe still had many colonies in Asia and medicine knowledge was still very lacking. I am really intrigued about this development.

Why would an orphan snitch on Farma?? I hope someone followed them because it doesn't make any sense to let him leave with a stranger, even if she's a young girl. He's of high status too so this isn't going to end well.

priests and a little boy.... ara ara

5 bucks says he will mysteriously "forget" (refuse to use/be affraid/good boy morality/hippocratic oath/plot stuff...) that he posseses god level water magic that could wipe people clearly intending to kill him off the face of the earth in seconds. We got to have conflict, contrieved power dynamics be damned!

I somehow wish more care would be given to political outsmarting moves than that standard "young protagonist overcomes the self-consciousnes of using his OP power"...

Also, it seems these people are french during the existence of Dutch East Indies company, making the likely queen Marie Antoniete. And she deffinitely didn't die of tubercolosis :D Lets hope that poor Alto as an aristocrat doesn't share that fate.

Okay so another good episode, but Falma is a clown in this episode 🤡. You KNOW dangerous stuff is going on, your shop just attacked, and you immediately go guard free to some random girl? And it was SOO obvious, wish they would have written that better to where he wasn't so naive and it wasn't something everyone knew was coming.

He really needs to train up his combat magic, I hope he erases all of those religious douches.

I did not think I would like it, but I am loving this anime!!! My favorite this season.

The episodes are just so short that the story starts going and then is over. Sadly so many anime are have substantial filler at the beginning and end and you are lucky if you get 15 minutes of actual story content.

In honesty, most of the adult staff there didn't notice about the trap. But I can't blame them, to assassinate the son of an archduke will be a big crime so, in the minds of most adults, only an idiot would kill Falma.
On the side note. Medicine and Religion will probably never find full compatibility. Even anti-vaxxers refuse certain medicines due to petty religious issues. Even worse in the dark ages where pharmacists were executed as either heretics or witches. Hopefully cats are ok, in this anime, since cats were persecuted in the dark ages. Yet modern religion still has it problems, I still remember 2020 where religious pastors tell people to Ignore covid lockdowns and go to church, making terrible claims that "god will protect you."
While I am not saying religion is bad, being "too religious" produces the worse results; the most recent worst result was the Assassination of Shinzo Abe, which stemmed from how the assassin blamed the Unification Church for the destruction of his family life.

Anyway, as usual in any fantasy world, the church is dangerous. Using Arslan Senki's Bodin as an example, it is no surprise a fantasy religion has crazy people that promotes mindless violence and unreasonable genocide; in Falma's case, the church's actions are unreasonable since his pharmacy is generously helping commoners yet religion wants to destroy good medicine. In the worse case scenario, using Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu! and How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord as typical examples, fantasy religious organizations is often very corrupted as most of the religion's positives have been destroyed and misused by human avarice.

when I saw they were leaving the city I was like "damn this is a trap". but yeah I don't think pharma is really at risk here. a general rule of thumb for iskeai protagonists is that there if the problem can be solved with brute force then it effectively isn't a problem.
