I did not watch it and I guess never will, but I would guess it is certainly not better than the anime adaptation. I am assuming the live action one put more focus on the romance aspect rather than the esport aspect since the actors for sumucheng and MC are popular figures in China, it wouldn't make sense if they produce something that don't fit the taste of general chiense audience for love action TV shows, that said - romance. Correct me if I'm wrong. Main topic is friendly team and redemption of MC with his personal history. |

But as any Chinese TV series is, it is a rollercoaster of emotions for each episode. You'll be happy for a minute and the next minute you'll be crying your eyes out. I have watched it and will still watch the anime version when they release the continuation. |
