| Chisato is leagues ahead of anyone else in the agency. There's much more to her story yet to be seen I'm sure. The commander almost looks like a crossdresser. I wonder if her and the man who blew up the penthouse where he thought Walnut was hiding is the same person, lol, wouldn't that be a twist? |
| Man, what a great episode! It felt great for Fuki to get her comeuppance when Takina punched her back, now they're even. It was a revelation to me that they are basically using Takina as a scapegoat for the hacking that occurred, shows that this organization is corrupt. I'm really growing on Chisato, the way she stood up to and defended Takina, very admirable. The quote from Chisato, "There are things you can gain from losing something" are words that have affected me in my personal life, for the better, that hit harder than I expected it. This has been my favorite episode so far. |
| Hah, having an intelligent kid like Kurumi being able to do a better job than someone like Mizuki, really though, DA should hire her as their agent as well. Otherwise, LycoReco is at its usual having a board game session, while Takina has other plans to appeal herself back to DA with Chisato following at her back to their organization's secret facility for their regular check-up session, which other Lycoris agents and staff have a bad rep on her as well, most particularly Commander Kusunoki while Chisato catches up with her old friend Fuki. Regardless, where there's good, there's also bad in DA, and everyone definitely has a pick on Takina being the scapegoat that her only acceptance comes from Chisato when the organization turned its back on her, as much as she vehemently wants to fight for her own justice that she'll never get. For now, Takina must really rely on Chisato to get things moving, even when the past with her former partner Erika's aftermath is painful to bear. Chisato's lone mock battle against Fuki and her partner, the Best Girl within her shows further of her conscientiousness and agility to block bullets to show why she's the premier Lycoris agent, and Takina's tact with speed is unkempt to others of her rebellion, but these two will make a perfect pair regardless. At the very least, this is a promising dark horse that has more surprises in store. |

YEESSSSS!! She really had it coming LOL! Chisato and Takina supremacy for Saturday's anime   Eh. She finally smiled  Anyway, this episode definitely was amazing, focusing from my perspective on Chisato and Takina's relationship. The mock battle sequence was very beautifully animated, and Chisato's bullet-predicting ability was also explained; that was also nice. There's nothing to say, it was just an amazing episode. Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |
| Well, seems like Chisato is just a superhuman after all. Still, it was so satisfying to see her put Sakura in her place. These people are such dicks to Takina. The hug and lift from Chisato has me really invested in their relationship. Speaking of which, it turns out that the D.A. takes in orphans and trains them as assassins. This makes me wonder why the hell they're taking in girls and not boys. These guys are definitely on my SuS radar, as if the leader's "evil" hairstyle wasn't enough. |

| Wow what a fantastic fight scene, even if Takina was only there for a one shot, it's a sweet revenge to Fuki who got that punch back and her partner well she got the Chisato taste at her mock loss. I can't help but think that Kusunoki is behind the arms deal, the picture has someone with the red hair after all. Even if she's not behind it, she is seriously hampering Takina's hopes to get back, but after this episode I don't think she will anytime soon. Lastly, now that Chisato is known in the dorms as the radio tower girl, I can't help but think that she's like McClane from Die Hard...and the way she dodge bullets is like Neo from Matrix....but hey her precious smile is just like Marin so no need to worry about it. This is truly the sleeper anime not just for the season but for the year as well. I can't believe that its fellow original anime Engage Kiss (if it doesn't turn out great) will turn out to be the bottom A1 show for this season. Even KanoKari 2 doesn't stand a chance even with its popularity, but that's a different (ugly) beast to this one. |

| so we finally got to see all the girls from the Poster.. The girls may be acting like bitches, but teenage girl her age 100% act like that.. this isn't just a japanese thing.. That Takina x Chisato moment was so freaking sweet.. God i love the soft piano melody in the background while a friend tries to comfort her friend on her first mistake and to accept it.. tho.. that aside, the Takina punch was brutal but much needed.. |

| Took about a week break from watching anime daily and I came back with another banger episode of Lycoris Recoil. I see that it's rating went up to 8.00+, and I think it's more than well deserved. 19:25 is a John Wick reference, you can't convince me otherwise |

| So after watching for 3 episodes, I just want more of this because it is really good. But knowing this is an original animation makes my heart kinda hurt since it means there won't be so much more to this title after it ended. There's only manga and LN from Wikipedia mention, but dunno if it will expand the story after ending or not. Usually not tho. Now I just watched the opening closely... Fuki got A performance evaluation, Takina was B and last Chisato got A+ (sasuga....). But after the two latter not on DA anymore, the info is obsoleted to D rank. | I think this way of implementing yuri to mainstream anime would be perfect. Mainstream anime has a long been popular with yuri baiting. The problem with yuri is that when something is yuri most don't watch it because they are like: Oh, that anime is yuri. Not my cup of tea. Skip!. It is like some who might think that they don't like romance anime and all anime which are tagged as romance gets skipped by them. Yuri is seen purely as romance genre and that too is major factor which keeps many away from it. If we make something like Lycoris Recoil currently is, an action based cgdct original anime, and have mainstream anime watchers hooked to it then we could make yuri popular. Best thing to introduce yuri to this would be that in the end of season they start officially dating. Something which would tell watchers with no doubt that MCs really are lesbians and not just best friends. Then these mainstream anime watchers would have surprisingly ended up watching really good action based cgdct yuri anime. If show is success like it seems to currently be it would mean for people that it wouldn't matter if show is yuri if it is good show. So the industry would know that they can tell more stories where there is yuri. Yuri baiting is so common because the industry is afraid that if anime goes to yuri the mainstream wouldn't watch it but problem here is that nobody has never tested this theory with high quality top production. In the end I don't think it matters much nor it should matter if MC is hetero or homo if product as whole is incredible good. I just want to see more lesbian MCs in anime even if yuri itself is not main thing of story. I mean would The Saga of Tanya the Evil be suddenly bad anime if Tayna were gay? At least in her case it would make totally sense if she were gay. Yuri baiting is like sex without release. It is goddamn frustrating being on the edge and nothing happens. Yuri baiting is current's era curse. We will someday get over it and I really hope it is Lycoris Recoil which causes it because I'm so frustrated to current situation of yuri anime. |

I almost laughed my ass off when they called every Lycoris in for a match because I thought Chisato was going to take all of them on for their treatment of Takina. The fight was still satisfying either way. I don't really like the new girl, and I feel like she may do something later on. |

| I want them to be doing more "random people in trouble" in self concussive episodes and less "go random place and fight a guy because a dude said to." Training and practice nonsense with nothing on the line but hurt feelings. Hurt feelings for being taunted about being an ass and not getting to live in the creepy child soldier brainwashing complex... oh yeah, they're asses too, but they have good reason to have a lot of contempt for her. The whole first episode was about how Takkina was reckless and uncaring about other people's lives because She Always Knows Best. Saying "Well, the other side was horrible," so actually she did nothing wrong???? We're just ignoring that then? Or the way she immediately put someone else's life in danger for no reason o what? The pissy girls have points, and "I'm better than you at literally everything, so you're ridiculous" and/or both sides-ing it is a pretty despicable response Even the pissy girls apologized to each other. That's more contrition and understanding of their own shortcomings than I saw from either main character. |

| Haven't really liked this series so far, I hope it's just a slow start and that we're getting good plot soon but it's just meh. Starting from ep 2, the Walnut death should've been an actual death with them dealing with the repercussions of fumbling the job and could've brought home Takani's point about not letting enemies live and could've brought out the reason why Chisato is passive. But no, it turned a glorious scene into a bad one when it was revealed that Walnut was safe. Then onto ep 3, am I the only one who understands why she was fired? She went off orders, messed up the mission, and to top it all off she even put her ally in danger with an unstable weapon. Essentially, what good is a gun if it misfires? I also just don't really like the firefights in this show, it would honestly be a nitpick if firefights weren't all that this show presents. The firefights don't feel like firefights, much rather playing with little toy blasters which would honestly be fine if they got how quick it takes for someone to die correctly. I checked a compilation of gunfights from Gunslinger Girls and compared it with thid anime and Gunslinger Girls wins. Enemies die quick and it feels natural, the second you pop your head up, boom. Not to mention that they fire short bursts at cover instead of full mags. Constrast this with the scene of Takani vs the Van scene where when I watched it thought in my head "boom" the second the passenger put his head up just a tiny bit. Even with Chisato's pacifist ammo we still see enemies go down as if they'd been shot with Takani's gun, so this doesn't excuse this point either. Also saw this tagged as slice of life on the site I watched it and well, not a very good one lol. Boring conversations and boring, flat characters. Well, this is just my opinion take it however you want. I'll be watching the rest of the season praying that it gets better. |

I think if they actually decided to let Chisato die, it would cost a lot in quality.If they decide to kill her than i honestly think the best option would be to have Chisato die at the end of the series, In many forums, even here at MAL, Chisato is the main reason why this anime is so popular.I mean she is mo*therfu**ing John Wick xD. |

| I like how even the assistant asks what kind of magic Chisato uses haha. Yeah, I wasn't convinced by the explanation they gave. That new girl Sakura is such an insufferable piece of shit, it was so good to see Chisato toying with her during the exercise. And even better to see Takina come in at the last minute and land that punch in Fuki's face... YES!!! The scene at the fountain was great. I loved when Chisato picked up Takina <3. Man, Chisato is so damn likeable. Best girl! |
| Damn I didn't notice Mizuki's blush and got confused why she was even pissed and concluded oh she might have worked on it then I rewatched it and I felt bad for her she must have been so proud of that work So the drama begins here good breather from all the action but new characters are a hit or a miss and she's 100% a miss, Yuri baits are beautiful don't overdo it and it won't lose its feeling (I still would like to see more) I like to see this mock battle against rivals it's so good when they beat them and seeing Chisato is there well that's an easy W, as expected, So the secret is up I think there's more to it than it seems so I'm expecting more. |

Lycorises are girls themselves. Radiata is their most powerful unhackable AI carrying DA's secrets which was (was it?) hacked. And a white lily is legit the symbol of the yuri genre. I think it's pretty neat. |
| Kinda wholesome episode with some sweet revenge sprinkled on top. You can tell Chisato is really growing on Takina and vise-versa. Chisato confronting the DA commander about their BS, defending Takina against all the slander and giving Takina a little comforting really shows how good of a friend she can be and how much she supports Takina. On the other hand, Takina's smile to Chisato at the end is probably worth more then a thousand words to how she feels towards her since ep1. Mock battle was good, Chisato clowning on the other two and defending her own titles was great. Takina's last minute beat down before mag dumping the shit onto the other girl made me smile. Some small insight into Chisato's ability to seemingly predict and dodge rounds at unbelievably close ranges which was basically "she's just really fucking good and crazy" or what I took away from it. DA really showing their true colours this ep, using Takina as an escape goat to cover the fact someone hacked into their main system, not even weighing her actions out as well. Sucks they also hardly care about the rep it gave her, trying to replace her with someone who talks to much shit and then gets their mouth rinsed by Chisato in the most satisfying way possible. |
