Ok so like the main male character run away from home and all that and he said it was because of his parents BUT he didn't say what they done that made him run away from home (at least in the place I saw it they didn't write it in the translate) anyway I was wondering what did you thought was the reason he run away from home that revolt his parents

Also it was kinda anoying that we didn't get to see his life before that... Like I understand that for like "suspense" and "mystery" they did it like that but like I think it would help so we can understand the main character because like I still don't get him but somehow i do?? Maybe that's what they wanted to happen idk

I don’t remember the movie mentioning anything about the mc’s backstory

The manga more explicitly shows that his parents were abusive, which explains why he was covered in bandages in the beginning of the movie.

I guess so, it's mostly the same as the movie but in a different format. Since it's an adaptation of the movie and not the other way around it doesn't really do much different though.
