---Volume four, Chapter one; the fifteenth numbered chapter in total---
AKA The Escape Begins

So between the last numbered chapter, we had the volume three epilogue and the volume four prologue...

Manon is also becoming a film nerd, though a director as well as the audience xD Yikes; Pandæmonium really does have an insatiable itch to make dark films... So much so, that she's also making recommendations to the (now demonic) Manon on which films are the best. I've said similar before and I'll say it again; it would be pretty wholesome, were it not for fact that they are both evil and causing widespread death and destruction, heh

Volume four prologue saw a flashback to earlier days in Flare's career, further cementing her status as a villain and reaffirming how committed she is to her missions. The prologue does throw up some interesting questions about the world itself, mainly concerning the starhusk (the white entity which blanches) and Ivory, which I believe is the fifth Human Error (the only one which no longer exists?). Maybe it's because I read it whilst tired or something, but I'm looking forward to having it explained at a later point, rather than developing a theory from now.

Moving onto Chapter One and I'll be honest; I kinda saw Ashuna's involvement coming from the moment where it's mentioned that Menou had returned to the oasis, heh Unnecessarily convenient that Ashuna would assist Menou in catching up to Momo, but I don't mind it, truth be told. Thanks to Ashuna's offer, we got to see Menou in a butler outfit! (I know the author was looking forward to having more fun with different outfits since the ballroom/ Libelle arc; it's nice to see the follow-through) We also got an outright confession that Ashuna is interested in Momo (not really a surprise, but it's nice to see) along with a decent bit of worldbuilding information :)
