Manga vs Anime

Don't misunderstand me, I love the anime too and I don't consider what I have said as a flaw (it's mandatory to the character development), but I think that's what people hates.

I think it's like the famous "get in the Eva, Shinji" case xD We know what she should have to do, but this is not a story about she doing what the letter says, but a story about how she growths and learns to do these things.

When I saw the anime, I loved every chapter, then I rode the comments and people disliked because she didn't do those things. For me, it was easy to understand that she wasn't capable of that even if she knew it was the right things to do, so I really don't understand people complaints.
